We saw this in a BBC news story:
"Panicked New York City residents rushed to shops before the snow came, clearing shelves of milk, eggs, and kale, the New York Times reported."
I've been in a lot of snowstorms, but we never stocked up on kale. Anyone know what this is all about?
Hugs, Devlyn
Prepared hipsters?
Improvised insulation?
A smoothie bar operator who "won't be shutting down for no stinking wussy storm?"
I got nothin...
This will sooo go on my Facebook feed. What ever happened to good old "Milks and Toilet Paper".
Even here in Virginia, milk was hard to get...
#stormchips! (Ask Kathy)

After all that you say "I got nothin....." ?!
Nothing serious anyway.
I like tossing some kale into salads and such but it's not high on my list of "stock up before snowpocalypse strikes" supplies.
Though now that I think of it, I have made a pretty great kale quiche. Maybe they already had crust fixings and cheese on hand?
What are the benefits of Kale? For the longest time I just thought it was a name.
It's like tough lettuce but it actually contains vitamins and minerals.
Thanks. Not sure I haven't heard that much about it. Raised on the West Coast.
Maybe they were out of toilet paper, and that's what the kale is for [emoji90][emoji23]

Ya never know what purposes one may find with a lot of one thing. I've no idea what they want but I'm guilty of buying my Walmart out of green cloth cuz I wanted to build a greenscreen :p
Maybe they wish to make a greenscreen that you can eat :o
