I'm having SRS in a year (with Suporn who is known to have a longer recovery period than most) and need to make plans for the months after the surgery. I'm wondering how long it will be until I'm back on my feet, literally. How long until you can walk around and sit comfortably again?
In a week or two you will be able to walk short distances but you will have little endurance. If you are moderately active, by two months you should be able to get around fairly well. Again 2 to 3 months the discomfort should be pretty well gone but this is dependent on you. Some people continue to feel pain for many months after surgery and a few out to a year.
Here is a link to a popular guide for Suporn, written by a woman who had SRS done by him. She wrote that you need 3 months to recover before feeling mostly normal again:

You're probably aware that the recovery period for the skin graft technique is much longer than that for traditional penile inversion SRS. I had SRS with Chettawut, who uses a similar procedure as Suporn. Based on my own experience, I think 3 months is about right.
For anyone who's seen it before, that pdf was updated a few weeks ago.

Thanks, I had a look at the updates cause I hadn't read it recently. Great information!
So I can schedule VFS for 3 months after SRS.
