Title: 13 Days Left
Post by: CrystalMatthews0426 on January 19, 2018, 12:51:22 PM
I don't post nearly as often as I would like to... but wanted to come out and shout to the world that I have my first Endo appointment in just under 2 weeks. I am so ridiculously excited and nervous. Office sent me all the new patient paperwork including the RX for blood work which I did this week and my therapist has my note ready as well. Not sure what the timeline to hormones will be, but I can't imagine it will be too long.

I've heard plenty of stories about what to expect, between the "second puberty" and mood swings to the slow changes of my body. Which might get really crazy because I'm also having bariatric surgery in a few months. By this time next year I should be a whole new woman.

yay!!  I bet you are excited. :)  Happy to hear about your upcoming surgery, too.  I hope HRT and the surg go perfectly. :)

Good for you!  I know that I and others were extremely anxious and excited about beginning HRT.  I look at my little ticker and the last time I focused on it I had been on HRT for 14 days, now it's 17.  Time flies.
