Don't use that thinking as a barrier. Anything is possible if you work for it. Read our wiki's, Visit our links and read everything you can get your hands on. Find a gender analyst. Find a gender support group and join them. Go to a few meetings dressed up to get the hang of it. Most are accommodating and allow you to dress there.
The point I like to make is that Mom and Dad chose their path and it worked for them. But this is your life, not theirs. Do what makes you most comfortable. Explaining is not easy as everything comes out in a flood. At least it did for me. But because I had done some research it was easier to explain that my affliction may not be a choice. Or, the choice I'm making, is to finally comply with the feelings I always had for as long as I can remember. Actually helped me make sense of the disaster which was my first marriage.

Hon, those aren't limited to men only. There are plenty of women who enjoy both. That isn't an indicator of anything. :)
Would it be possible for you to speak to a professional specialising in gender issues? If so, that's likely the best step to take. To talk to them about how you're feeling and where you feel you could go from here.
The question I would ask you is, how does looking like a girl make you feel? Aside from who you're attracted to or what you like to do. Take those out of the picture for a sec. When you see yourself, how do you feel?
*hugs* It's okay, a lot of this can be confusing. You're definitely in the right place. :)
You can be a woman who dates women and races cars if you want. None of those have anything to do with each other, so you can have whichever combination you want.
The question is, are you trans? It sounds like you might be, but you should explore that further with some professional help before your boobs get any bigger. You should talk to a gender therapist.
If you are not yet legally an adult, you will probably need to talk to your parents. Is there a counsellor at your school who could help you both find resources and talk to your parents?

Wow, she looks like my first wife.
Welcome to Susan's Place. Gender identity is how you see yourself and has nothing to do with your interests. I know auto mechanics, work in a machine shop, do home repair, design digital electronics and worked 40 years as a computer programmer. I have many other interests in many fields however all of these interest can be done by a man or a woman. I have two links that might help you understand what gender identity and ->-bleeped-<- is. The first is our WIKI (https://www.susans.org/wiki/Transgender) where ->-bleeped-<- is discussed. The second is "the transition channel" (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfO3B57E6NpIn-KsVjvmLLw) where you can explore your feelings.
It's not the best idea taking hormones that aren't prescribed by a doctors as for some people there are medical risk. I would recommend you see a gender therapist so you can receive proper, safe treatment.
