Title: Strange reaction
Post by: NCmuse on February 02, 2018, 09:53:22 AM
2 weeks ago I went to I think it was my 4th laser treatment on the face. All of may facial hair has now turned a lighter color. My Tech said she would turn the laser to a higher setting now. Anyway she moved quick across the face and spent maybe 20 minutes doing my whole face and then I got an upset stomach. I have never had a bad reaction to laser before but I think maybe the higher setting and her going a little quicker somehow made my stomach act up. Have others had similar experiences ?

Have you considered that rather than your hair having turned lighter, the process has destroyed all the darker hair and the hair that remains is the lighter hair that is resistant to a laser?

This was my thought too. You might try electrolysis on the lighter hair just to see?

My neck hair was mostly darker and it is now mostly gone after 3 laser and 2 45 minute electrolysis.  The facial hair just seems to be a lot tougher. I was more wondering if getting an upset stomach after laser is a normal reaction.

The upset stomach my be from low sugar. The pain from the laser and having an empty stomach may be the reason. Perhaps some saltines would help.
