For me its wearing a bra. And I cant wait for hrt to make me smell more like a woman.
Having breasts. Thats the part that makes me feel the most feminine.
First it was just lipstick.
Then it was all female clothes especially a bra.
Now that I have started HRT, I am hoping for breasts and curves. To me these are what really matter.
HRT, though I can't really say I feel all that feminine. Whatever, I like it.
For me doing anything or talking about anything feminine with other girls.
These days, almost everything makes me feel feminine. My posture is still a bit masculine, and my voice, though I'm working on both.
I believe this for me is being more readily admitting weaknesses, cluelessness, and being more vulnerable.
Chrissy
I feel feminine because I AM female. It is innate and why I was so miserable trying to play the role of a guy.
I fully feel female now. I finally understand that THAT was what the "always feeling different" and not manly enough (no matter how much I was) was this whole time. For me it's the bra right now that I guess when I wear it, it's s confirmation of my womanhood. It just feels right. Maybe these are just milestones for transition I don't know. I think make up when I start trying to do it will be another. I'm impatient because I want it all now as most of us do but I think enjoying to journey will be fun as well.

For me it's not so much any one particular tangible thing or item really but it's more of a deep feeling within that makes me feel the most feminine :icon_chick:
The feeling that wells up is difficult to describe but it is inescapable, You can try to run but you can never hide from the feelings inside you

I've been out to myself less than a year, and I have had to present male a lot because of jobs I've held. I find that, the more I present female, the more my femininity comes out. I mentioned to my therapist recently that I can feel this huge basket of femininity welling up from inside and on the verge of emerging, erupting into my personality; and I simply can't wait. I think it has begun already.
Perhaps confidence is the key. More confidence means more freedom to express. What's difficult is, the stuff that's repressed is not automatically accessible; it has to feel safe -- if that makes sense -- before you can access it.
Mine's coming out like gangbusters, and I couldn't be more thrilled. ;D
Just being myself really:)
I think out of everything I feel most feminine around other people.
Peace and love and all that good stuff,
Sadie
Happy at the changes to my skin, becoming more smoother and lack of body hair..
TR..
There's no one thing, yes most of the things mentioned are factors and when you put it all together I feel feminine. I also don't think I'm ever going to tire of presenting femme. Of course that's got to be influenced by all those decades of being told I couldn't and then not wanting to because of the bulge inevitably showing when attired in feminine clothing.
Best (anyone who knows me already guessed) is having sex, even with a guy, especially with a lesbian identified woman.
When I use the little mental voice in my head.. and refer to myself as "she" without thinking about it first. Or when I look in the mirror and don't find a man's face.
Girly clothes, hair, bling.
My brain, on the rare occasion I can truly let go. At those times, I feel like Cocinelle in my avatar. That's why she's there.
For me it's not clothing or makeup. It's having a relationship with a guy who only sees me as female and has only known me as a female.
When I wake up in the morning and take a shower, wash my hair, and shave my legs and then get out of the shower and look in the mirror !!!!
Of course, for sure when I do my makeup, fix my hair and get dressed... (bra, panties, skirt, blouse, heels, etc)
***The biggest factors are my relationships with my family and friends that have stuck with me for the many years of my transition that see me and accept me as a female.

I'm right there with you. As a guy, I would never act like this. Being vulnerable and the reaction I get from others always makes me feel good.

I guess I'm just a real girly girl. Love pink polish and tights/leggings.
I feel like a girl but feeling girlie...probably long hair. Guys almost always have short slair so long hair makes me feel very girlie
Well I have always felt female inside, I tried to act like what I thought was male and I failed at that mostly cause head aches and heart aches. I always liked female things and wanted so much to do them but was never aloud to I would literally get beaten by my father. When I turned 16 and my dad was out of my life I started doing female things removed all my body hair, nail polish , eyeliner lipstick , pierced my ears and tongue had gel nail French manicure had my eyebrows done bought female underwear got a "tramp stamp" lol bought more female clothes had one night stand with guys while dressed as a female it took a while for me to realise and accept that I am not male I was pretending to be male for other people and I hated every thing about myself at the time. I felt like I was living a lie. I was never good at talking to guys about guy stuff but woman I could talk to about anything. I realy did not care to hear guys talk about girls that much as it made me feel uncomfortable but I was ok with girl talking about guys. Basically I was in denial myself. Which for me is wierd as everyone in my life says I am on the top of everything that comes into my life that I have to deal with. But an item that makes me feel girlly is eyeliner mostly sorry for the long paragraph
For me it started with things like lipstick and nail polish and then more colourful clothes and being more and expressive. At moment I think it's being able to let my emotions out rather than bottling everything up and hopefully in future when I get hrt my most feminine will be my curves :)

At the moment, it's having longish finger nails, shaped and with clear varnish on, coupled with my small hands and having removed any arm/hand hair. When I look at my arms/hands they look very feminine. ;D ;D

Gawd talking men is THE worst, lol
For myself it's definitely the bras! They just gave me the security I need for my femininity, haha. But it gets a little bit uncomfortable if I wear them for a really long hours. Second thing that makes me feel more fem is makeup!
My name, my real and official name!
I was surprised after I got my name legally changed, how relieved I was and how I felt much much more complete and feminine.

I always feel good when I can let the girls go free after all day in a bra. Thing is if the aren't contained they get a bit painful if I move too fast.
Well people say that I am gifted to see how other people feel and all little kids smile at me.
My godchild sometimes calles me "mom" and sometimes "dad". That's pretty much how I feel though.
When my roommates say "You are the best stay at home mom!"
Or when my grandma used to say "You have the hands of a preacher."
Some kind of androgynous just feels right :)

It's weird, but I feel most feminine when guys who knew me pre-transition, treat me as a woman now. My one brother is so protective of me now. It makes me feel very feminine. I love it.

Right now for me I'm gonna say makeup, bras, sexy underwear. :) Hopefully after starting HRT I will get the curves.

Honestly for me personally my inner being I am feminine I don't need outside things or items to be feminine. While certain things can enhance it. I am feminine and quite happy being so

I like that. 😊 Have to agree.
I think it is probably close to the same for us as any woman. Makeup is a big one for my friends, I think that when I start to wear it I will feel the same. Clothes and jewelry make a difference. My one friend has certainly underwear combos that make her feel feminine, I believe that her favorite is a loose, silky teddy bottom with a loose, silky cami top.
For me it is always in the way a guy treats me, it can even be as small as opening a door for me. I had opened a door for a guy one time as he was racing to try to beat me to it. We laughed and he ignored the open door and opened the inner door waving me through. I laughed again, as I was walking past he said, "Let the guy get the door, he'll want to know he deserves a smile like that." I said thank you and we both laughed again. I was on cloud 9 the rest of the day. 😊 My boyfriend is amazing in this capacity, I think that he wakes up some mornings with his only goal making me feel feminine. God I love that man.
Other people's acknowledgement that I am a girl. The same for my male alter, Primary. Other than people's perceptions, neither of us think about gender. Each of us is is just who they "are."
It started with jacks, hopscotch, foursquare and dress-up with the girls. But the thing that sustains me now is that I am finally able to have a free mind. Once I came out, I stopped being afraid. I still have my doubts about other people but I have no doubts in me. In fact, loving myself is the most femme thing I do.. after a lifetime of self hate.
I love the makeup clothes jewelry but for me it is being myself with others without the wall of fake masculinity I hid behind I am me now and loving it

So with you on that - nothing quite drives the point home that you're not a part of that tribe, quite so quickly:)

Getting boobs is a big one for me. My hair is one that kinda snuck up on me how important it is to me. Having longer hair because I've never had it before.

For me its these suspicious chronic cramping right above the pubic mound that NEVER...GOES...AWAY... well unless I orgasm or exercise really hard. TMI I know. Its not exactly a pleasurable experience, but hey, I certainly 'feel' female with them. It used to be monthly. Like an idiot I thought it was constipation. Nope. Now somethings 'broken'.
Want Free cramps? Offering empathic transfer. If only.
Talking to people, I guess. Listening to them and getting feelings about how they're feeling. Having conversations as myself. Just... expressing how I feel and what I think. Not too many opportunities for that nowadays so I take what I can get. :)

Weakness, cluelessness and vulnerability? I would like to suggest googling Joan of Arc, Queen Elizabeth or EVEN MY WIFE! You won't find those stereotypes in real women. Maybe teenage girls. Yup.. I got triggered. lol

This statement of mine was based on a stereotype of some males, not females.
It certainly is not diminishing females.
I think everyone has some weakneses, cluelessness, and some vulnerabilities.
My statement does not mean that women have more of these then men.
Males seem to have a tendency to hide their shortcomings, ignorance, and vulnerabilities.
This I believe can be counterproductive in many life situations, except perhaps in a power dominance situation, such as war.
Not admitting that you can learn, that you are not the best, and the like can limit you from improving. Why bother to learn if you know it all? Why ask for help if you think you know everything? Sometimes we know almost nothing about some matters.
