So I'm sitting in Irvine Spectrum here in sunny cali, but it's actually kind of cloudy and chilly lol--waiting for a girlfriend who I'm going to come out to. Anyways, I'm just watching all the pretty ladies saunter about and thinking, how do I mimic that, for me the hardest part being my upper body, I feel like I'm really stiff up there--but there's definitely a big difference in their upper bodies, between m & f. I think I have the bottom down..but I've gotta figure the top out (I should probably have someone watch me). Any opinions or advice on walking?
PS, if anyone is wondering whether or not i kinda feel like a creep, yes...yes I do. Lol, but im not making any wierd noises or gestures, so maybe that helps.
I would suggest putting on some dance music and let yourself get loose. Learn to love the motion. If you enjoy how your body can move, it will transfer into your daily activities......of course watching and emulating is a big part of learning body motion as well.
This is a modeler of the difference between how men and women tend to walk.

Play around with the gender control and rotate it around to see the differences.
I can't help with specifics. Once I outed myself to me and relaxed, I started walking differently. My wife commented on it and so have others. I suspicion that I had been forcing myself to walk 'differently' my entire life and by relaxing I am walking as me. There is no question it's a more feminine walk. Why, not sure. so .. maybe .. just relax and let it go.
What I did notice, once I relaxed my center of balance moved lower. That makes a big difference.

Well...I'm kind of a terrible dancer lol, but it wouldn't hurt to try!

Very interesting, thank you (:
MEN: Sit with their legs apart and spread out, slouched in the chair.
WOMEN: Sit with their legs together and/or crossed, sitting in the chair with good posture.
MEN: Walk with their feet further apart as if almost bow legged.
WOMEN: Walk with their feet closer together and if they really want to show off a wiggle they walk with one foot in front of the other... or close to that.
Posture, posture, posture! Women tend to walk with a more erect posture, while men slouch..
I find that the biggest aid to good posture is to suck my gut in. That automatically raises the rib cage, making your boobs more prominent, and puts the shoulders back. Just the way the drill instructor said back on Basic. It lifts the head, so you don't look like you are trying to hide.
The other thing that helps is to wear a slight heel. You don't have to war hooker shoes, just something a little higher than men's shoes.
You don't want to be rigid, but if you can maintain good posture while you walk, you will look much more feminine.
I was in the market the other day walking down an aisle and noticed a tv monitor with a woman walking in it. I had to stop and back up for a minute because it was me, lol.

Smile, you are on Candid Camera!
So 7inch with a 2 inch platform is too much? I love those shoes :D

But what if you like War Hooker Shoes LOL >:-)
It's all in the hips, the posture and the attitude... Strut it like you own it and smile
If you wear hooker shoes, whatever they are, don't DRINK alcohol!
I'm with these girls, what I do is shorter strides, and dance (all the time hehe). I did practice walking in a straight line (which really gets your hips to swing) but then I backed it off quite a bit. honestly moving in front of mirrors helped the most, but not all girls walk feminine. For me its all about posture and relaxing. Walking in heels never hurt either, I feel like they force me to walk correctly :P
