I tend to be a modest person, always have been, even back in my male college days.
I almost never wear a lot of skin exposing outfits. I have cleavage, very happy about that, but I don't usually wear clothes that show a lot of that... It's just me.
Here is the kind of dress that I like to wear, modest but definitely feminine.
Question: What kinds of female clothes do you prefer to wear. Please post a photo if you can.

I'm was the kind of person that wore a shirt in the swimming pool. So I always wanted to be covered up.
I wear jeans and a sweater most of the time. ( Still winter in the PNW).
I occasionally wear a jean skirt, or a long black dress. ( But always with leggings, until I lose more weight and it warms up.)

@ lds98498: Thanks for your reply... your current pic shows nice progress, keep the progress pics coming. :)
My personal feelings are that unless a trans-woman has it all in the way of a feminine build and appearance, and can pass without question, I think it is best, at least for me, to not be too flashy and bring attention to myself. Don't get me wrong, I love attention but it can be way too easy to attract the wrong kind of attention from homophobic people watchers.
Skinny jeans and a blouse are my favourite. Feminine enough to be gendered right, but not so out there my wife melts down too much.
T-Shirt (or some weather appropriate top), dark blue classic straight cut jeans, and sneakers.
Chrissy
Jeans and whatever top I have handy. I absolutely adore the duluth trading company firehose cargo pants I bought for work.
As for tops, I like t-shirts, am currently wearing a semi low cut blouse here on the job, and sometimes I'll even go full lez and rock flannel over a cami or something. (while driving a subaru, who doesn't love a good stereotype? lol)
Who says we have to wear clothes???
Just kidding - jeans blouse/shirt, camisol, etc.
This time of year, it's skinny jeans and a sweater. Unless it's cold enough that I need to wear long johns (long janes?) underneath, in which case I'll wear cords. In summer, it's skirts for me, though I'll often wear capris for variety.
Variety in clothes: there's a concept that I couldn't enjoy as my old self! Now I love it.
My avatar pic is a typical spring/summer outfit for me. One day last spring, I caught a glimpse of myself in the patio doors and had my wife grab the camera and take some pics. I just looked so darned good, I needed to preserve the evidence. Here's the uncropped version:

Is that the Eerie Indiana crow in your avatar?
Here is what I have on today. It may be winter outside, but is cozy warm in the office. I have a parka for in between.
This is typical of my work outfits, my play outfits are a bit spicier.

It's a pic I took last July at the Cliffs of Moher.
I actually thought I would make a good runway model. Maybe 40 years ago but today I'm a bit more discerning in public, wearing jeans, boots and colored tops. But in private I still wear my bodycons and short dresses. Oh and dangly earrings. I am wearing my bodycon in my profile. I got a new webcam so hopefully I will be able to take pictures that are capable of getting my whole body into it.
I like crop tops, blouses/light sweaters, light jackets, and cardigans with skirts/leggings. Also form fitting dresses, I love showing my back or legs.

@Allison S: I am not much into crop tops although I have a fairly slim waist and curves so they look fine on me, and I love form fitting tops and dresses too like the one in my first picture in my original posting on this thread. I like form fitting tank tops, and tops with a racer back. I have a C-cup bust so I like showing that but not exposing too much skin with plunge necklines and such. Showing my back.. not so much, but I am told that my legs are a good asset for me. I love heels.
I would love to be able to fit and wear those outfits that Diana Rigg worn in the BBC Avengers series. Loved it when she kick the C outta those evil doers!
I typically wear dresses or a blouse with slacks or a skirt to work. Things like this-

Thank you, yes I just wish it would work faster but so does everyone else I think my clothing style is helped by working with 95 percent females and learning what looks good on them and what does not and matching stuff I never used to match anything before now everything has to match
Oooh One of my favorites is the one I have on in my avatar with a bold makeup look, but I love wearing my hoodie and leggings for casual (or my fancy jeans), its cute and comfy

Beautiful place. We were very upset we didn't see any puffins when we visited. Maybe next time.
I thought at first that I would wear skirts and dresses as much as possible. I find that skinny jeans is more comfortable. Around the house it's mostly yoga pants that I wear. As I get further along I'll spread out into other clothes. I already can't wait for swimsuit season.

And you've forgotten your bra already??????
I live in comfy conservative skirts and tops, leaning towards the boho look from old hippy days. My avatar shows a typical outfit. I do own a couple pair of skinny jeans but I have only been able to force myself to wear them a couple of times.....

That's totally cool Robyn! I became a Born Again Texan or "BAT" back in 2013 when I moved from California to the Houston area. Cost of living was 1/3rd less than CA, Bacon could be purchased for 1.99/Pound - not 12 ounces, 16. And jumbo eggs for .99 cents - I was in chicken and hog heaven :)
In my case, there is a trade-off between beauty and comfort in choosing outfits. As I am getting old, I tend to shift to the comfort. Usually I wear one-piece wrap dress, which can look fashionable and very comfortable as much as sleeping gown. In winter, I do not care about beauty at all, just any warming-up jacket with some leggings, and of course, long boots.
