Title: Skin graft question
Post by: Ashley1212 on February 15, 2018, 01:25:23 PM
Hi,
So I had surgery a month ago single stage penile inversion.
Everything seemed to be going fine. No issues. Then I had a decent size piece of skin graft detached. After talk to Dr. still to early to find out whats going to happen. Has anyone experienced this? What did you end up having done?
Thanks Ashley

Hi Ashley,

I guess it depends where the graph is and how extensive the detachment is. I had a piece tissue in my vaginal canal removed. It was on the right side of the vaginal canal about an inch in. I was told by my doctor to not worry and that it will heal. It was when my packing was removed. She said for me to not force the dilator into the hole by mistake. My scrotal graft was small and there are large areas of scarring on the floor of my vaginal canal that will be remove in 6 weeks but the location on the side where the tissue was removed must have healed very well as there is not scar tissue there.

I hope the detachment survives and it can be reattached. I would keep in contact with the doctor and take pics and send it to the doc on a routine basis.
