Has anyone used a breast pump to enhance breast growth or something similar, and was it effective overtime? Would love to hear of your experience. I have reached a B on HRT after around 2 years, and think this is my limit. xx
Breast pumps use suction to pull fluid into the breasts, making them appear larger. The results are limited and temporary. However, some people report a slight increase in stretched skin after using a breast pump for quite some time.
With two years of HRT, many people report almost all their breast growth and only a few report a little more after after two years. Some ladies report renewed breast growth with switching to a different form of Estradiol.
In my opinion, if you are not fully satisfied with your breast size after two years of HRT, then it is time to start looking for a good surgeon for a quality breast augmentation. Anything else is a waste of money.
Hi Jamie! Welcome to Susan's Place! I'm Jessica. I tried breast pumps off and on before hrt and didn't really see anything happen for me. I think I wasn't being as diligent as I should have been though.

@ Jamie_san: I have a trans girlfriend who, before starting HRT, tried the breast pump for 3 to 4 months.
As
Dani and
Jessica stated in their responses, any enlargement is mostly negligible if at all and is probably very temporary at best ...
My girlfriend reported NO long term breast size increase, plus it was uncomfortable for her and the suction cups left big red rings around her breast area that took days and days to go away... not too attractive in low cut tops for sure.
You might want to consider to give it another year on HRT in my opinion to see what develops. Just my opinion!
I have been on HRT for almost 3 years and in this last year I have gone from a B cup to almost a full C cup... very happy!!!

I have been using a dual electric breast pump for some time. I pump several times per day.
I have increased my cup size from nothing to 38 B. I now need to wear a bra for support and modesty. The suction has given me 40 D nipples on 38 boobs!
I too tired the pumps while on and off HRT. I loved the results, only issue was they were temporary at best. I used the suction ones, and actual pumps for milk. I will say, while taking milk meds, I did produce small amounts of breast milk. While using the suction pumps, my breasts stayed enlarged for a few hours at most, but where so tender the next few days, do to the amount of suction and the duration I left them on.
I would imagine that it's like anything else, and that your mileage may vary. Some claim to get permanent growth with pumps alone, some with the assist of herbs and suppliments, some get temporary swelling, and some get nothing. Doctors use them for fat transfer breast augmentation, so they obviously do something. If nothing else, you're prep'd for fat transfer breast augmentation if you don't get the growth from the pump alone... so I don't really see a down side to giving it a shot, if you haven't got the development you were hoping for through basic hormone therapy.
