"Southern Utah University says a transgendered student must prove its gender in order to live in an all-male dormitory."
Shouldn't that apply to all students? Before being assigned a dorm room all students need to have a crotch check.
You know, the first report I read on this stated that the university required a letter testifying that the student had received SRS. This is clearly outrageous, especially for an FTM.
The second report I read was slightly different; it said, "university officials insist on proof that transgender students have undergone various medical interventions, including surgery, or that they have been diagnosed with "gender identity disorder." (Emphasis mine)
Suddenly the story takes on a whole new complexion.
