Title: Appointment with the endocrinologist
Post by: VaxSpyder on February 23, 2018, 01:20:41 AM
I have an appointment on Monday with an endocrinologist.  I know I'm not physically or mentally ready to start hormones yet.  I want to lose 50 more pounds first and come out to my family before I start hormones.  But I wanted to talk to the doctor about the whole process.  What's it like talking to the doctor about hormones for the first time?  And am I bring silly by even going before I'm ready to start?

Here are a few good videos I found on hormones:

You are not being silly even if you are jumping the gun a little bit.  I totally understand the excitement too!  I want as much information as I can find on EVERYTHING related to transition...definitely not silly.
