Ok for those of you that have read my introduction to this particular forum in "Please bare with me" you will know the ups and downs I have been through. But as this topic states I have made my decision. I am a man and I am putting my foot down....lol thats kinda funny well sorta I think. But I want to go back to what I was born as. Which is a female of course. Ive heard a lot of people state that sperm dies out and is no longer useful after hormones are being taken well Id prolly worry about this but Ive been sterile since berth, needless to say since I began with ovaries as opposed to testies. I did my research and youd be amazed at what you can find on the internet as well as how far 1000$ goes to a doctor at home for the weekend. Needless to say as far as ogans went when I was born I had a somewhat underdeveloped male genetalia as well as ovaries filopian tubes and such. needless to say I think I was one screwed up baby. But believe it or not I spoke with my mother and sara you were right she actually had a much vast understanding about everything. Shes supportive although somewhat disappointed that I wish to return to my female state but at the same time she reassured me that no matter what she would always love me.
So now comes the fun part....where do I start as far as hormones go or whatnot? Come on ladies I know we all love makeovers well I travel all over the US all the time and will be proud to be someones or more than ones guinea pig for a while. I have many questions and need answers. I wish I could speak one on one with someone but still the private messaging option is out the door for me at the moment. So bring on the info.
Much Love,
Erica Cherise M.
Hi Erika,
I'm not sure if the procedures for an intersex transition are quite the same as a regular transition, if anything about the process can be called regular. I would imagine the the Benjamin protocals would still apply. First thing is you need a therapist. The therapist will make a reccomendation for hormones which you take to the doctor. From there there is RLT (Real Life Test) were you live as your true gender and of course later whatever surgeries are need ot accomplish the full transition. This is just a summary of course. You should probably check out the WIki there is a lot of material on the subject.
