Title: Sandal toe straps that hurt!
Post by: heather3791 on March 02, 2018, 07:36:17 PM
So I went to DSW today. I've been wanting a pair of cute flat sandals to get ready for spring. I found some awesome looking Michael Kors. I tried them on briefly in the store but chickened out actually walking in them. (The store was packed and I was in dude mode.) They fit fine but once home and walking in them the straps between the toes hurt and were not comfortable. Anybody else experience this with this brand? I think I'll definitely be tasking them back at this point.

If you haven't been wearing that type of sandal then it's normal to hurt.  Your toes have to build up some callous in between them and the only way to do that is wear them for a couple of weeks.

It is for that very reason, I hate flip flops. You also have to be wary of straps with rough or uneven edges or seams. They can scrape your skin raw.

Build up some callouses? The things we sacrifice to look beautiful! I don't know...these sandals almost have a sharp edge to them. I have some Reef flip flops that are super comfortable. There's gotta be some stylish sandals more comfortable then these things. I'm off to do more shopping!

So I took the Michael Kors sandals back and got two other pair of sandals for less money. I got a pair of Italian Shoe Makers and a pair of Tommy Hilfiger. And they are both ten times more comfortable then the MK's. I'm now a happy girl! ;D
