Title: Does your first puberty affect how fast changes on T will come?
Post by: spence77 on March 04, 2018, 07:45:19 PM
I am ftm, and I am going on T pretty soon. I know there are a lot of different factors on how fast the changes will occur on T, but how does your first puberty affect it. If I was a late bloomer or whatever the first time I went through puberty, does that mean that the changes will come slower when I take T and go into my "second puberty"? Also I don't know if this affects it, but I'm almost 18 if that matters. Any answer will be appreciated thank you!

Hmmmm, interesting question.

IIRC, I had the usual first puberty, developing pretty normally, taking years for things to happen.

Yet with second puberty, my voice and bottom growth both happened pretty quickly.  Facial hair started before the six month mark too, as well as body hair.

I'd say that second puberty is definitely happening WAY quicker than first puberty!  :)

Doubt it.

1st time was slow, was about 17. 2nd time was fast. But I hardly had any estrogen in my system by the 2nd time and my female functions were totally out of whack as a result so it doesn't surprise me.
