Hey Guys! My name is Claire, I am beginning my transition this month. I am a young transitioner! I am starting this month at the age of 19. I need your guys advice and help. I read every thing I could possible & spoke to the clinic and ask them all the necessary questions I possibly could. Now the only thing that I am still confused about is "Fat distribution" Here me out. I have not started hormones just yet, but will do this month. I am Hispanic and a lot of family members on my dad's side (women) to be exacted are thicker. I was blessed with a metabolism where I can legit eat anything and I will gain little to no weight. My waist is 27, but I've always had I guess bigger features such as a bigger butt and some what big thighs naturally. I also have wide hips surprisingly I want to know how is fat distribution going to work in my case because of the things I have. I just want to be educated heavily. I am taking this very seriously and want to know a lot about my transition, I am not showing these pictures to show off by any means. I would just like someone with experience to tell me how the fat will distribute among my body. Thank you guys so much.

The increase in estrogen will promote fat deposition in your butts, thighs, breasts, face. Enjoy!
Your body, as far as I can tell, already looks quite feminine. ;D
Hi, Claire!
Welcome to Susan's.
Something impotant to remember about HRT is that "your mileage may vary" (YMMV). Everyone's response is unique. Fat redistribution does occur , but it can be pretty subtle. SOme people find it quite noticeable, and others hardly notice any at all. At just over a year on HRT, I can notice a slight curve in my hips and thighs that wasn't there before. It is pretty slight, though. My butt has not changed, but it always was kinda cute.

I appreciate the information so much. I am trying to learn as much as I can. I just want to start my transition with all the knowledge I can possibly get from veterans
