I fit a UK size 12 skinny jeans and I love them, the way they actually show the shape your legs is so cute!
I fully intend to lose weight as I actually need to so I will probably drop a size or two sizes.
Thing is, I have man feet, big old boats and it's really difficult to actually get the size 12 over my feet and onto my legs, especially at the bottom.
Do the leg holes get smaller as the jean size gets smaller?
I'd hate to be a size 8 trousers and never be able to show my legs in jeans because I can't physically get the jeans over my feet haha

@ CallMeKatie: Join the world of womens fashion.... I do not have large feet, and I wear small sizes in clothing.... and Skinny Jeans can be an issue getting your feet through the bottoms as you described. If you wear "above the ankle socks" be sure to put the socks on first or you will never be able to get them on after your jeans are put on... but they do look great and show your shapely legs.
Another issue can be pull-over sports bras.... one just about has to be a contortionist to get them on or off, getting them off after a sweaty workout is really difficult and it fun to watch others try to get them off in the locker room at the gym!!!
Have fun, and thanks for your posting.

Foot amputation could be considered too extreme, until then maybe check out some different jeans brands?
I tend to go for bootcut jeans to give myself some fake shape.
One random suggestion might be putting a plastic bag over your foot to help reduce friction??

It usually takes three wiggletugs to get mine over the ankle. And I'm absolutely painted into them. >:-)
Some Skinny jeans like 7 for all Mankind, Hudson, etc. have a stretchy fabric in the opening, so it's not an issue; I have a couple pairs of True Religion skinny jeans that don't have any give, and they are a bit hard to get in and out of.
I find getting them on to be easy. Danielle is right about putting your socks on first.
Getting them off, now that's a different story. I have to sit down and peel them past my heels, taking the sock off at the same time. But the inconvenience is so worth it, because they look so good!!
Well since my last pair of mens trousers (excluding my work uniform) finally ripped beyond repair, I've only got leggings and skinny jeans to wear.
Haha I better adapt to getting them on :D
Get out your sewing machine and install zippers! That is what we have to do on some of mine.
Otherwise, look for stretchy fabric.
Now this is a topic I can get in to.
All I do is wear women's jeans. I have one pair, fatty size 20 which are getting loose, lol. I wanted to go to the store and check out some at Target, WalMart, Ross and my daughter says Savers which is a thrift store.
Not too much into thrift stores so we were in and out.
Just recently I learned that jean material can be stretchy which I didn't know and aside from some blubber I am looking prettygood leg wise :)
I have noticed a lot of women wearing leggins and have a pair or two that I wear around the house but haven't gotten that brave to wear them outside yet.

Your foot size does not matter so much, and the the size of leg hole does not differ so much.
If it is very difficult to get the jeans over your feet, then it is a manufacturing problem or the foot hole was shrunk by various causes such as the drying machine. You may find and choose a proper brand of jeans.

You want to make sure the skinnies you buy have a degree of elasticity. I was a bit worried about this, too, but I found as long as I buy stretchy jeans my feet fit through OK. They do sell jeans with zippers or velcro fasteners at the bottom, though. Regular women have the same problem. You just have to shop carefully.
BTW, I actually heard the president of Levi-Strauss recommend that buyers not wash their jeans. It sounds awful, but laundering in a washing machine and dryer destroys denim. Based on Levi's recommendations, I now turn mine inside out and air them to revive the jeans for a few more wearings. The rather than washing in a machine, I just soak them in cool bath water for awhile and hand-dry them. Unless you get excessive soiling that should do it. In fact, these days dirty looking torn up jeans seem to be more fashionable. Whatever!

Wow, this is new to me. I vaguely recall the number one reason Levis became so popular was the denim could be washed back in the old gold rush days. I occasionally will soak clothes in a vinegar/water mixture - vinegar kind of revitalizes the clothes and they feel so much softer :)

I wonder how much a pair of Levi's sold for at the local mercantile back then, considering a shovel could cost as much as $500 or more?
Good question. Will google.
Some years ago there was a fashion news articles in one of the young women's magazines that Levie's stated that for the longest life of their denim jeans that they should only be washed once a month!!!! Lyric remembered correctly.
Really now???? Mine would get pretty grubby in a week, let alone a month.
I certainly do know that when we see all the lint coming out of the Lint Trap in the Dryer that it's gotta be coming from the clothes.... so we can wear out our clothes by washing and drying them..... perhaps "Delicate" setting... or hand wash as Lyric stated.

Yes, your clothes will last longer if you don't wash them...your friendships won't!

@ Cassi.... well, THANK YOU very much.

Again, thanks,

After googling it, it turns out the meaning is completely different than I remember - the opposite as a matter of fact. So, first I apologize for my ignorance and secondly I re-coined the phase to a person is totally cool and awesome!
Some of the best ones that fit (me) are 7 for all Mankind and Koral (my fave), both which contain spandex and are true to size. They also both give a bit of boost to the caboose.
Love to all.

The trick to getting them off is to get them around your ankles and stand up and push them off with your feet..
...or you could use a carrot peeler.
