I am 3 days late from officially making it to Week 1 on HRT, to be exact, but not much has changed in these 3 days.
And to be honest not much has changed since I started HRT, about 10 days ago, which was expected.
The biggest change I've noticed since I last started HRT, is my mood swings. I'm starting to get very irritated by small little things, sometimes things that doesn't even make sense for me to get irritated. I feel like I'm a lot more stressed out, like everything is just overwhelming me. But on the positive side whenever I'm happy, it's intensified. Just today I had one of those happy moments, I thought to myself: I have a small frame; I get complimented on my hair a lot; I'm pretty(at least I think I am lol ;P); I just took the first step on transitioning; Everything is going perfect! Just thinking about all of these things made me feel more euphoric than I would normally.
The other change I've noticed are my nipples... they are a little tender. Not tender enough for me to cry whenever something touches it. But enough to notice something is going on.
The last thing I've noticed is my skin, it feels softer and smoother, maybe this is all in my mind, or maybe the sudden change in my skin care routine, but it's usually at night when I'm in bed that I notice small things like that is happening.
Current Measurements:
Height: 5'5″(1.65m)
Weight: 147lbs(66.5kg)
Bust: 36in(91cm)
Waist: 29.5in(75cm)
Hips: 36.5in(93cm)
Shoe Size: 8.5 US
Day 1 Measurements:
Height: 5'4.5″(1.64m)
Weight: 146lbs(66kg)
Bust: –
Waist: 28in(71cm)
Hips: 36in(91cm)
Shoe Size: 8.5 US
So my height changed half inch up, but that's probably because of the time I measured myself; From now on, I'll measure myself as soon as I wake up, that way I'll have a more accurate measurement. Usually in the morning you're about an inch taller than you are normally, due to gravity and your spine, and such.
I'm not going to lie, I've been slacking off on my dieting, that's definitely the reason why I gained a pound in a week... Chocolate and potato chips are my weaknesses. On the bright side I gained half inch on my hips. Or maybe that's due to me finally going back to the gym.
Hi Eva 🙋♀️ The changes in your mood, irrational thoughts and the like, sounds a lot like how I feel whenever my dosage was increased. Thinking back 8 months and I now see that happened to me when I started. It smoothed out within days each time, but sometimes randomly it can happen. And yes, all and all I'm happier too!
It's a wonderful adventure we are on! Jessica 💁♀️
Congrats Eva! You started HRT almost the same time as me. :) I haven't noticed any changes yet though.
Hugs,
Chelsea
Tracking changes is fun and a learning experience but daily might take the fun away. On another site I was doing a weekly update and moved it to bi-weekly. The changes really stood out then.
Started at 46 band and 49'bust. Now 40 Band and 46 bust as well as 65 pounds lighter.
Go for it which ever way you like and have fun. Changes are good and surprising.

Thank you so much! We started about the same time but you're already so far ahead of me! I still haven't told anyone, and legal matters like gender and name changes will only happen at the end of the year. I'm looking forward to see your progress! It'll motivate me to not fall behind :)

Lol yeah I tend on being very impatient which has brought me many unfortunate events because of it.
But yeah, I'm doing a weekly update only on my first month. Then on my second and third month, it'll be bi weekly. After that it'll be monthly. Already got my blog all set up and ready to go :). Just have to publish it
