I ask as I wonder.. I take 3 pills of E each day. Usurally I down them with water first thing as I wake up. Reading the tab bottle however, I notice it says to take one pill 3 times a day... I never really read into this. Should I space each pill out or continue what I am doing?? I thought everyone takes it all in at once

Well, I'm no doctor and you should confirm with them, but I read it as taking 1 pill every 8 hours.
According to the label you should be spacing each dose out.

I split my dosage 12 hours apart.
Ugh!! I feel like a boob. How many years have I messed this up lol.
Be glad you don't have to do it transdermally - I always mess that up.
If your bottle says 1 pill, 3x daily then that's what your doctor prescribed for you.
Plus, I read or was told somewhere (thinking Dena) that the pill doesn't stay in your system for that long and is only at what 30% strength after the stomach does it's thing.
Oh my. i feel so stupid. I had no idea. Now I see probably a lot of my issues hormonal too now. I'm on a very large dosage but take them all at once. Now I see my problem
Thank you! Tomorrow's a new day lol
Yes, tomorrow is a new day!
And always remember there's a difference between ignorance and stupidity!
Bahahbyes! This may explain why I started to get night terrors?
Here me out I have always had these but recently , end of Jan i got an increase of E, by a lot and a couple weeks later I noticed that I started to get much more triggered and emotional and have night terrors. Hormones imbalance? Since I slam all of them down first thing in morning?
Not sure if there is corrolation to this especially at night. At first I recall feeling great (especially a few hours after taking pills), but pst few weeks noticed as the hours dwindle towards night infeel off, randomly fearful and insomniac with more nightmares
Could also explain pains in the genitals and not so happy feelings there
Don't know what to tell you. You may want to mention the night issues with your doctor.
I have the same instructions. I take mine every 8 hours.
As said, I'm going to space out the doses. I can't believe I didn't see this before
That's weird- you must really be on a high dosage because estradiol has a short half life. Usually unless you take it right before bed, it would mostly have worn off. Isn't that how it works? Or maybe you're T is being supressed and then you also don't have much E at night. Because I hear that happens at the tail end of taking injections. But I'm not a doctor and of course always ask yours.

Transition is a marathon. So for a bit you had a bit more uneven E and tomorrow it will be more even. I think the way you were taking the E may not have had as big an effect as you think as this is in your blood and not receptor time. I do not know how long E stays on receptors. So it could be pretty much a good question for an endo doctor and reality a mute point.
Spacing out the E will help in leveling out your emotions.
I am also on a high dose and take it one pill three times a day , you will find that your hormone levels will be more even this way thruout the day and you should start to feel better.
Hello SailorMars
I am glad the matter of your dosage times has been resolved.
I hope your problem of night terrors is also soon resolved. Nothing worse than having them and then afterwards being fearful to go back to sleep.
I hope you may soon relax properly and enjoy a good night's sleep.
Pamela
Talked to dr today. She was shocked I was doing it wrong and states this is likely a reason due to distressed sleeping
Your new day is here - do it correctly :)
