So I just started T last month.
Which is great, except I have bulimia and anorexia...
Will nothing change because I'm too weak? I'm underweight and aware of my condition but I'm struggling to eat a healthy amount of calories. I'm getting better but I'm not completely there yet. I have a bmi of 13.8.
This is my first post btw so sorry if I'm formatting this post incorrectly
Hi Issac! Welcome to Susan's Place! I'm Jessica.
I'm afraid I haven't any experience in eating disorders. They aren't uncommon, so hopefully someone here can help you. Hopefully you're able to talk to a doctor about this, I've heard it can be debilitating.
I see your new here, so I'll post some links that may help you get better acquainted with the site. Then join in on a topic you find interesting and learn and share.

Hi Issac, Since you are on T already I'm going to assume that you are seeing a Gender therapist . I would really suggest talking to them about this issue. Talking to someone face to face can be really helpful , they are able to hear the emotion in your voice and offer support and guidance. If you are not seeing a therapist I would strongly suggest that you find one near. There is nothing wrong in asking for help and not going this alone.
I give you my well wishes and hope that you can find someone to help .
Paige
My eating issues haven't completely gone away - I feel I have to watch what I eat carefully still, but at least the T and the surgery made enough of a difference that I no longer feel I have to starve to keep the curves away. When I decided to start working out and building up a bit, there was no way limiting food was going to allow for that, but it does cater to a personality or habit of watching what you eat and when, so maybe a fitness regime will help you.
