I'm a 40C now and starting to quad those bras. My ideal would be a 40 DD but will be happy at 40D as well which should not be long at the rate they are surging out.

I'm pretty chesty with a 38C, if I got any chestier I'd have to buy a few new bras or something  ::)  No surgery, just natural development from HRT

I'm fairly happy with what I've got

how easy or hard is it to reduce your band size say if you was carrying alittle weight? im 42 right now, hoping i can squeeze down into 38 at some point

edit- use a 40 sports bra for gym but it is a mission to get it off without ripping

I'm just barely a 36B right now.  I wouldn't mind getting just a bit bigger.

I would love to get to at least a 36B, right now I am a 36A.

My band size did decrease quite a bit. When I started HRT my band size was 40!

I selected 38C because 38B wasn't an option.  Ideally, 38C would be my choice, but it's not a reasonable expectation.  I'm a 38A at the moment, and I'll be lucky to make it to 38B.

38D would fit my frame nicely.

I think 36C would be nice on my frame. I'm currently 36 band but just started HRT so that will probably change.

After a year of HRT I'm just short of a 40B. With the constant growing pains I know I've got more growth coming. At 6'2, I think 40D would match my frame. A full 40C would be enough to resist the urge for BA.

I was able to get to a B cup during my 2 years of HRT  ..... then during my 3rd year I became a C cup, which I am very happy with.
I am very active, running, jogging, exercising, hiking, etc....  I do not want any additional breast size that I have to deal with.   Right now when I am involved in my active times with a proper fitting Sports Bra I am comfortable....
****Please, breasts, don't grow any more!!!!!!

Hi @Shambles 🙋‍♀️ I only had a little extra weight when I started hrt and my band measurement was 37".  I lost some weight, but gained it back.... in different places.  My band size is now 36" after 8 months.

I've been on HRT for a little over a month, and am at a band size of 37", and would like to get down to 36".

Not having breasts, I'd like to have 36C or 36D, but as Danielle mentioned, as someone who also does a fair amount of running, etc. I'm nervous about that as well.  Since I have a larger frame, I probably will ultimately want larger breasts, and will just have to endure while jogging.

Hi Shambles:  Oh yeah, pull-over Sports Bras can be a real challenge.  It seems that one has to be a contortionist in order to getting them on and off.
Might I suggest that you either get one of the "Front Closure" Sports Bras or perhaps you might try ONE SIZE larger like a 42 or XL... instead of a 40.

In the past with some styles of Sports Bras I had to swallow my pride and go for a larger size for myself, it fit nicely, did it's job, and it was easier to get in and out of.  The size on the bra means little if it doesn't fit correctly...
... In my opinion.....go for the FIT.

I am at a 40 D now and that is fine with me. I have a little asymmetry which I may or may not get corrected by implants. If I do decide on implants, then I will be looking for a BOGO sale.  :D

To get it off:
- Slide left hand up under the band, between the boobs.
- With left hand, stretch the band to pull cups away from breasts.
- Slide right hand under right strap, across right breast under the cup, and out under the band, until elbow is past the band.
- Duck right shoulder out of the bra.
- Right arm is now free, bra is loose, and can be lifted off easily.

I am a full 36C after two years HRT. I have recently become very perky and pointy again which means another nice growth spurt is underway (lots of new growth pain too). And in recent weeks they have become quite heavy and bouncy (much more than before). I am closeted and always will be, so I can hardly hide these things anymore. I would like for them to stop growing now, but I am afraid of becoming a D before the year is done. I have reached my target. I'm happy with that. Still, I've said a million times (and heard it from others), with HRT be careful what you wish for.....

Breast size is less important than my overall appearance.  I have a fairly slender hips. I can easily get out of proportion, and draw more attention to myself than I'd be comfortable with.  The best case would be to fit into most of the clothes off the rack without having to tailor everything.  Saves money and hassle...

Just regular walking gets them bouncing nowadays. Weirdly, I can walk at a specific quick pace and get them going in near-perfect unison. I'll admit it feels nice and sexy.... ;)

What an odd poll, you can't do much about your band size, which is your ribcage.  If you're obese you can shed plenty of pounds and perhaps slim down enough to comfortably go down one size, or even get some lipo done.  Here's what a plastic surgeon has to say:  Can I Reduce My Bra Band Size Without Reducing the Cup Size? (https://www.laurengreenbergmd.com/breast/bra-measurement-band-size-cup-size/)

QuoteYour ribcage is bone.  I cannot change that size.
For some women, there is fat in the bra strap area which pads on top of the ribs, making the ribcage size larger.  When I do liposuction of the back and axillary roll (these are all the areas which are under your bra line), I can reduce this ribcage size by removing the overlying fat.  This is a common occurrence in many of my breast reduction patients.  As an example, when I do a breast reduction, I may drop someone from a 40 —> 38 or even a 36.

I selected 38C, which I might be happy with, but 38B would probably do, I'm a bit discrete at 5'11".  But 38B wasn't an option.  Just asking what cup size we're after would make more sense.

All of the studies I've seen state that transwomen by and large are deficient in breast development compared to ciswomen too, our larger frames don't do us any favors.  Studies on trans women's breast development | Gender Analysis (https://genderanalysis.net/resources/studies-on-trans-womens-breast-development/)

QuoteIn the study of Dittrich et al. [22], 60 trans women were treated with GnRH analogs and estradiol valerate 6 mg daily. Seventy percent of them wished to undergo augmentation mammoplasty as they found their breast size too small after 24 months of hormonal therapy. Only 35 percent of trans women in their group had a B cup (mean difference of 14–16 cm between circumference at the nipple and circumference just below the breast) or more, 35% had an A cup (mean difference of 12–14 cm), and 30% had less than an A cup after 2 years of cross-sex hormone therapy.

So don't get your hopes up about turning out all buxom.

There are encapsulation sports bras too, which are a bit more expensive but don't compress things as much.  You're Probably Wearing The Wrong Sports Bra | HuffPost (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/21/wrong-sports-bra_n_4590756.html)

Nice jacket!  Closest thing I have to a fem outer-garment is like a long sweater shirt which I have never worn.  My daughter yesterday tells me "I went through your clothes, thanks".  She took the sweater/shirt and my knee boots to go out casinoian :)

I hope to get somewhere around a 34B. I could probably handle a 34C but I wouldn't want anything bigger than that! I'm a tad under 5'7" and I think anything bigger than a C would look silly on me. I've never been a fan of big boobs anyway.

At present I measure 35" around my bust and still have yet to start HRT so I can still lose a little more fat and muscle on my back.

Last May I was fitted in a 46C bra. In December I was down to a 42C and now 65 lbs lighter than in May I wear a 40C. I'm hoping to lose another30 pounds. It will be interesting to see where the bra size is then.

I already am 34E but honestly don't think by breasts are all that large. I'd honestly like another 2 or maybe 3 cup sizes, which would put me at 34FF or 34G. I don't think I'd want them to be any bigger than that, though, mainly because the number of bras available in sizes GG and above is a lot smaller than  what you can get in the DD-G range.

I discussed this with my plastic surgeon prior to surgery. We considered my height, body build etc... 38D was where we settled (I forgot the cm size of the implants) and according to those who look ;), it was a good choice for my body . :) Needless to say.....it was a major turning point for me in self acceptance of my body. I love my girls ;)  lol !!
