Hello, I am testing myself, I am not sure if I am trans or not, plus I hate the word. I know I am a straight male, I like women a lot, but I also would give anything to have breasts and a Virginia. I have had that desire sense I was 6. I am 39 and don't know if I can hide the my desire much longer. But I have a very high paying/professional job, and I must preset male. I also have a wife and kids whom I love very much, and am in love very much. I am sure if/when i told/tell my wife, she would understand and support me still loving me very much, but not sure if I want to transition yet, or how, or how much...
So I purchased some small breast forms online, and I have a trip to India from the US coming up. I plan to present full male, but tuck and wear these Brest forms with a bra, hiding them with my baggy clothing during my flight, and for sure when I get there. This is where I would like to test myself.
My question is, 1) with TSA (USA), and even India customs, is this something that I should not do for any specific reason? and why? 2) Has anyone done this (Brest forms, bra, underwear) while presenting male?
Of course, if I do this, and like it, I may consider HRT, but I wanted to test this out myself first.

>>>OH, and another thing, T-Shirt,
... since you are new here it would be great if you could go to the Introductions Forum (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,8.0.html) and tell us about yourself and about more of your transition goals so that the other members here can be aware of your arrival here at Susan's.
Hi T-Shirt 🙋♀️ Welcome to Susan's! I'm Jessica. Might I suggest, if your not already, find a gender therapist where you could explore your feelings in an environment that you can feel safe to be truthful to yourself. Opening up to someone trained in these matters is so relieving and they can help you find your true self. I think after that and you see a clearer picture, you may be able to communicate it to your wife.
As far as traveling, if you wear the breast forms the TSA may discover them, but if you tell them beforehand that you are transgender, they will know and be discreet.
Danielle gave you some links when she welcomed you. Please read the site rules, then find an interesting topic and join in.
Please do use Danielle's link for the introduction forum, it's a great way to meet everyone here!
Hello welcome to the forum, as others have said go to a therapist and i would also add go to an lgbtq center and see if getting to know other trans folks can help clarify your thoughts. And as far as customs go i would be scared that you might get an ignorant or transphobic customs or tsa person and that they give you a bad time. Be careful.
I present male and have breasts. The airport security scanners always pick them up and I get a pat down. I've not had any problems in the USA, but I won't travel or transit many other countries.
Hi
If you wear a suspender belt the clips will get picked up by the scanner and result in a pat-down. It doesn't matter whether they are the cheaper plastic clips or the stronger better metal ones. Ask me how I found this out ;)
I suggest wearing pantyhose or stay-up nylons.
regards
Talita
It is accepted as normal for women to wear any clothes of their choice. So why is it considered cross-dressing for men to wear skirts, dresses & other traditional female clothing?
