Hey everyone! I'm going to Montreal to see dr Brassard hopefully by summers end. Still waiting for an official date. Has anyone had dr brassard and could you tell me what the atmosphere of his surgery office/building is like and are the results good? Thanks
Paw through the Gender Correction section of the forum and you will find many of our member have written reports on him. He is well qualified and has many happy results.
I seen a youtube'r "STAR" by the name of Princess Julie (or something ) who went to Brassard . And I have to ask why are her scars so above her Vagina like that ? Most(that I have seen #anecdotal ) do not have scars above the bikini line like that. [MTF SRS Scars]
< Video removed, contained HRT dosages >
I think her panties being pulled down is giving you that perspective.
I've seen a few like that from Dr Brassard. It appears normal.
I'll let you know myself as I'm scheduled with him on 30 April.

that seems to be the norm with him, which could result in having a clocky vagina. most results i've seen from him have the same type of incision scars that extend so far above the vulva and i don't understand why, most GCS doctors try to avoid these type of visible scars as much as they can. i wanted to go to him because he's super close to me and i've already been approved for government funded GCS, but those incision scars really throw me off. i might end up going to Kamol instead.
I've seen a number of complaints about Brassard recently, and also some photo's of this work, but I can't post links to either here.

I can't find much out about Kamol. Why are you interested in him?
Sadly, some of us have no choice of who to see. I can only go to Dr Brassard so I have to accept this work. I already have two inguinal hernia repair scars so they likely won't look out of place.

There's supposed to be a GRS clinic set up in Toronto soon. Perhaps that might be an option.

Not my personal experience, nor result, with him at all. No scars above the vulva.
And, to be fair, Maud Belanger does much of the actual surgery work now. She was the one that did mine. I woke up a few times during mine and she was working away. lol Her and the nurses were chatting in French and laughing. (I got the spinal with the twilight, so I felt nothing at all) I went back for a minor revision a year later and she did that, too. I did not see Brassard the 2nd trip. My understanding is that they tag team the surgeries, so I am not sure what part he does these days.
I had mine done by Dr. Brassard in April 2017. Outstanding is the word I would use for results and for the care I received at the recovery centre. As I stated in another thread, I cried when I had to leave after my time there.

because he's on the list of doctors the government of Canada works with. he also seems to deliver consistently great results and patient satisfaction is very high. i'm somewhat interested in having colon vaginoplasty and he's one of the very few doctors who perform this procedure endoscopily avoiding the big scar left after the open colon vaginoplasty technique.
Had mine this past May with Dr Brassard and my results far exceeded my expectations. My two scars healed very nicely and are barely visible at 10 months. They do not rise anywhere close to bikini line as someone pointed out above. My clitoris is a nice little button that hides nicely under a very well defined hood, and the labia minor was shaped very naturally. Although a little smaller than a cis womans I like it. The Labia majora is balanced and full, my lefts side drooped a bit the first several months. Clitoral sensitivity was there after the surgery and I was able to reach climax from 4 weeks on. My vaginal cavity didn't wake up until 8 months, and it seems to be getting more sensitive as the months pass. Over all I am extremely please with my results.
I feel people should have realistic expectations when going into these surgeries. Not everyone is going to get the same result nor will you get a cis vagina out of it. The Doctor can only do so much, the rest depends on your material, how well your body heals, and well you take care of yourself post surgery. Anyhow, good luck with your surgery.
Had my surgery back in 2005. Mostly, very satisfied and looks very much like a ciswoman's vagina. Even women who've seen from up close had no idea.
Regarding the outside scars, I went to someone to have them medically tattooed so that they would blend in with the surrounding skin and so far, so good. They are much less visible and hard to notice. Clitoris is hidden under inner labia instead of popping out as it naturally would in a ciswoman but Dr. Brassard said it's all they can do. My clitoris only became sensitive and I could only get clitoral orgasms after adding some testosterone. Before that, penetration was the only way. I get the most amazing orgasms now and it's a success! No complaint there. Just WOW!
The only thing I would advise is to have hair removed with electrolysis before the surgery as mine grew after the surgery and I now have to deal with significant hair inside my vagina, not just near the entrance but deep inside as well. :( Dr. Brassard suggested I use a small amount of depilatory cream but after trying this a few times and despite working fairly well (results lasting up to 3 months), the burning sensation that lasts a few hours after and even slight bleeding on my last attempt have deterred from ever doing this ever again. Screw it, I'm just gonna leave the hair there. If you want to avoid that, to be 100% certain it won't happen, electrolysis, IMHO, is worth it! It hurts, takes a while longer, may be costly but at least u need not worry about this post-SRS. Wish I had done my homework, I blame myself for not reading in between the lines.
But other than that, very satisfied with the results! :)

that's what i was saying. brassard's incision scars extend way too far up compared to other surgeons' work.

Based on the statements from the girls that have had srs by him and posted in this thread, that does not seem to be true.

it is true based on all pictures i've seen of his results across the boards. search Brassard's results on ->-bleeped-<- and you'll see. most girls are very delusional and like to believe their surgeon is the best regardless of the outcome. the famous youtuber mentioned above was left with horrible scars she's already shown on camera, and she's expressed multiple times that she regrets having GRS with Brassard.
Yea, no.
Actual patients of Brassard posted here refuting your generalization of his results as having bad scarring. We aren't delusional, either. We're patients of his that say what you are saying in not true.
I don't need pictures...so, it's a no from me, dawg.
I see the result live...
