I have decided to open the discord up to the general public for both voice and text chatting. You must have a verified email to connect. For convenience you may wish to set the nickname on the Susan's place channel to the same name you use on the forums.
To join click https://discord.gg/Dmxtvqk
You can use the web based discord chat (https://discordapp.com/channels/me) or download the dedicated client (https://discordapp.com/download).
To change your nickname once on the channel click the Susan's Place Transgender Resources at the top of the window and at the bottom of the menu that pops up is the option to change your nickname.
The same rules apply on the Discord server that apply in our irc based chat, and you must follow this web site's Terms of Service (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,2.0.html) at all times, in addition to the Discord Terms of service (https://discordapp.com/terms). Their Terms of Service are very similar to ours.
Please note if you get banned on Discord, you will be banned on the irc chat and visa versa. It is always possible at some point we will merge the two, or discontinue one in favor of the other.
I'm wondering if you have a version the discord software for the Xbox console. The only way I'm able to talk someone online is with my Xbox llive headset.

Google Xbox Discord and you should find what you're after. In hind site it makes sense because Discord is a gamer communication programs and Xbox is a gaming platform. The two go together hand in hand.
I don't care much about the written chat version, it is very hectic, and mostly rather young people are using it ho talk about subjects that are of no real interest to me.

I enjoy it here a lot, this forum helped me a lot in understanding myself by seeing myself in others!
I just ended a chat in the Inersex discord server, and it is ok. But one cane do snippets only there and not really any kind of intellect stimulating conversation.
Anyway, I prefer to spend my time here at Suan's, an just look now andthe into the chat servers!
