Title: Anyone used vivascal professional grade?
Post by: Roll on March 23, 2018, 11:30:39 PM
Hair growth stuff has been put in this forum before, so just tossing this here for now.

So talking to my dermatologist, he told me about Vivascal. He said it works great at lengthening the anaphase of scalp hair to grow longer and fuller hair. (But explicitly said only use professional grade, it is the only one with enough active ingredient to work.) Has anyone given it a try? It's fairly expensive for what is basically a supplement at 60 bucks a month, but I'm a bit worried that I take after my mom's family who can't grow long hair at all.

Not really sure besides some vitamins, but my derm swore by it and wasn't trying to get me to buy it from him or anything. Reviews also seem good.

Just finished my second month on it. Apparently it takes 3 to see results so hopefully I'll have more results to give you in the near future!

Would for sure be super curious to hear about the results. I've heard about it as well. I'll go to my doctor and ask about options as well since my hair stylist mentioned some of her clients have gotten some kind of meds for it that they think works great.

I actually wound up getting some, but decided to hold off on it until I get past hair transplants since have to stop supplements for a bit around it anyway. I look forward to hearing your results!

Absolutely! I will say, I already have pretty long / thick (and wavy) hair but am using it for strength as my ends are a bit on the fragile side. As for my roots, it may just be me but the amount of time between needing a color touch up seems to be a little smaller than before.

Does it use minoxidil? I've avoided using that in particular because it can start by causing some hair to fall out AND when/if you stop using it, its effects go away

Vivascal is just a supplement with some weird crazy stuff in it like shark proteins (not joking) and then the normal hair stuff like biotin. No minox or anything like that.

Hi,

The hair on my head is naturally wavy on top and curly at the ends. I didn't know that I had curly hair until I started growing it out lol. Luckily, I have a lot of hair, albeit fine. Last year, I had my hair dyed with blonde highlights. Since then, I've been growing my hair out. I notice that the ends of my hair are finer and frayed. I've been periodically having the ends trimmed. I want to get the ends of the hair thicker and past my shoulders. I would if Vivascal Professional Grade would help thicken and strengthen the ends of my hair and elsewhere on my scalp.

I take daily multivitamins and 10,000 mg of biotin, the latter for my hair.  I wonder if I can take the Vivascal with the multivitamins. I'm also interested in taking a collagen supplement for my hair and skin.

I am taking vivascal for the next few months at least to ensure healthy transplant growth, I will definitely update when I get a better idea of results.
