Okay, I'm starting a thread here in Transgender talk instead ;)
Let's see if new people see this thread!
I've never really thought about this that much but I've heard from a couple of men their small skull size bothers them.
Do you think your bone structure in the head is too small or too big?
Are there things you're not happy with? How about your jaw or nose etc.?
---
I really haven't thought about this that much. I know AFABs have a smaller skull in general, of course. And yes, of course I'm aware that my head doesn't look 'male', especially when I'm pre-T! The actual skull size though doesn't really bother me. (So far, at least.) It's more about the other structures, mainly my chin and some other things it's hard to pinpoint at that make my face look 'feminine'. This skull size dypshoria is rather a new concept for me :D.
This also touches the topic:
Your relationship with your face?

But maybe some people have big or small skulls they are uncomfortable with?
That's not something I actually ever thought about. :o
I am pretty happy with my bone structure overall, considering it had decades of poisoning by T. My skull is fine the way it is. I am not planning any alterations to it as part of my transition.
I have a male-ish size head. My only problem is that I don't have enough hair to cover it well and a wig needs to be a large size to be comfortable.

Yeah, probably for the best ;)
I find this a bit weird too... I mean, technically you can be dysphoric about anything like your spine size or toe size etc. etc. But if you go that route, you're not happy with anything anymore! If you go looking for flaws in your body, you'll surely find some! Same goes for cis people in general.
My advice: Do not go that route ;)
I'm fine with my head too. I've spent my whole life looking at it in the mirror and having gotten used to the way it looks I'm not planning on changing anything there. The overall size I think is fine and in proportion to the rest of me.

QuoteLook at the size of that girl's heed.
I'm not kidding, it's like an orange on a toothpick.
Well, that's a huge noggin. That's a virtual planetoid
Has it's own weather system.
OK, I'm not that worried about it but it is pretty large.
I had CNC skull deburring on a three axis lathe and I couldn't be happier. ::)
Pfft, I used a 180 grit flap disk on a harbor freight angle grinder!
I wouldn't mind having a smaller skull, it would make me look more like a ciswoman but, I can live with it
Never thought about it. It is what it is and works for me.
I didn't know how to respond when I saw this thread earlier. Because yes, it does bother me... I saw a woman at the park an hour or so ago that had a small cute head. I mean she's very pretty .. I didn't stare it was just a glimpse but it made me sad. Then I saw another woman.. she looked kinda nice too. Only this time this woman was my reflection! LOL ok that's a bit cheesy of me but I just had to
My point is, I guess a smaller head/skull would look weird with my features and body. Maybe I'd pass much easier though

I honestly never thought about it. But I'm not a pinhead or a walking candy apple so yes, I would say I'm ok with the size of my head.
Actually, as MTF, my small skull size has made me feel self-conscious when presenting as male. My facial structure is somewhat feminine, too, so it adds to it. Early in puberty I could have easily passed as a girl if I had long hair. It's one of the aspects of transitioning that I actually have thought that many probably don't. Having a body that matches my head.
I'm not bothered by my body shape. I'm a chubby woman who kinda expands when sitting down lol.. I plan to start exercising soon but mainly for health as opposed to any bad feelings. I feel no ill or shame in regards to body (besides gentials and morning stubble). I'm a BBW and fine with that , head included. It matches feminine body
I have a large skull, even for a male. I found this out many years ago when trying to find a hat for a Halloween costume. I couldn't find one that would come down to my ears and had to kind of wedge it onto me head, yet when my male friend who was the same height borrowed it, he had to use his ears to keep it up!
It doesn't bother me however. In Japan I've learnt that skull and face size =/= maleness/femaleness or beauty. A lot of people in Japan, male and female, have big skulls and big faces (i.e. wide cheek bones and temples) and they still look perfectly OK and in proportion.
For myself, I've learnt that it's not the individual size of any one part, but how it balances with everything else. For me, my large skull balances out with my wide shoulders and 'widish' chest. I have wider than average hips for a male (though still nowhere near a cis female) so I'm hoping with a little HRT they will work to balance out my shoulders.
As for my hands though, they look like someone cut them off a giant and glued them to the ends of my arms! ::)
I will have to admit that I would change a few items. My head overall I don't thing is too big or too small. My chin I feel like protrudes forward more than I would like and is a bit longer than I think would be "ideal". Of course I also have a couple mm underbite so my lower teeth and chin all sit a bit too far forward. My nose is a long masculine shape. If I can ever afford those couple things changed I'd get it done. If I could afford to go to an ffs surgeon then I think I'd have the arches above my eyes ground flush. I don't have a masculine brow ridge but the supraorbital arches are raised some.
Anyway we all have things we don't like about our bodies. I think for me it's really about visual passing so as not to illicet the stares of strangers. ::)

(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180401/87d9695909002f929f406a2b9d38b1c9.jpg)My head is huge. It's the biggest giveaway other than my voice. I can work on my voice . I can't fix my facial structure. Also half of my face is weaker than the other half from a concussion I suffered when I was a kid. So that doesn't help either.
