Well i got a question that i have not heard of. I know hormones will not change your bones. But it changes lots of other things. Now i been on hormones since late December. Now i have noticed my shoes i been wearing for almost a year + is now a little big. Does your shoe size change with hormones? Is it because of the muscle mass in your feet change?
Your feet can shrink a tiny amount from the loss of muscle. I wouldn't expect too much
Oh i am not i was just a little surprised that my shoes have got loose on my feet. And they use to be snug
I've understood that the tendons will tighten and pull the feet smaller as well as some muscle loss. My feet act up since starting E in that the toes will cramp up and tend to point or lock in the weirdest ways and I'm having a hard time figuring out a new shoe size now. I can wear some woman's 12 while some 11 fit fine other are too small. Guess that's just like bras, you have to try them on to know.
My feet didn't get any smaller nor did they lose any muscle. As far as I can tell the tendons didn't shorten either.

?
I just shrunk :/
I am down about half a shoe size... wish I was down an inch in height, but HRT hasn't impacted that for me.

At about a year, I decided to get my feet professionally measured as I was going to need a new pair of work boots. I have been a EE width for that past 30 years, having lived with short and wide feet. She measured me and I was a D width, but still the size 9.5 I have always been. The only thing that changed was my chemistry.
I asked my endo and she mentions muscle loss thinned my feet some and it was normal. Prior to the measuring, I had thought my feet were getting longer, but the length never changed...just the appearance due to the thinning.

sprio and progesterone
The Spiro is probably causing the cramping in your toes. You might not have enough salt and/or water in your daily diet. You might want to mention it to your doctor.
When you are on Spiro you need to stay well hydrated. Even if you think you're drinking enough, drink more! I would take in 1.5 gallons a day, at least. I had always experienced leg cramping and this seemed to "cure" it. I still drink a lot of water. Also, my shoe size never changed.
I guess the cramping could be too little water. I never drink enough as is evident by the major uti I have now.
