A quick hello, since I am new here :icon_wave:
The last 12 months has not been notsogood. First, my bf gave me glandular fever. It is called that in the uk, but I think it is called mono or epstein barr in the us and elsewhere. I am still not fully recovered after a whole year. I feel like I am kind of too old to have that illness, but my bf must have been some sort of carrier. sigh.
Anyway, my workplace refused to change my shift pattern or do anything that might have helped and in the end, I got so sick and tired and exhausted that I had to quit. That has really been a big knock-back. Then, at the end of that week, my bf dumped me, just at a point when I really needed his support (sob).
I think I have been in some kind of depression since then. It is only in the last week I have started to feel more normal again and a bit more positive. There is one good thing about not having to go to that toxic, narrow-minded workplace any more - I finally got given a free ticket to be me :) and I am feeling very, very non-binary!
