I am 15 years of age and 5'6". I haven't grown since I was like eleven, the same age that I got my period. Back then, I was a giant, but as the years went by, I've become shorter and shorter. I used to regularly be the tallest person in my class or even grade at earlier points. Now that I've been living as male, I am dirt bottom in terms of height. Instead of the very top of the stands in chorus, I'm the very bottom. I'm terrified to hell and back that I will never grow again. I'm the runt of my family now.
My deceased brother was 6'7", and my eight-year-old sister is already about 5'0". I haven't had any growth in four years and I fear that time is running out. My mom said girls keep growing until late teens and boys throughout early 20's, as I've heard from every other adult I've asked, but online it generally says girls stop growing around 13 or 14, and my endocrinologist said 12.
Mom is 5'9" and dad is 6'0". I'm so so close to getting testosterone, but from what my endocrinologist told me, T won't do jack ->-bleeped-<-. I do everything in my power to grow, from avoiding caffeine to eating like a health nut to sleeping nine hours a night. I just want to stretch my body with a medieval torture device. I want to crack my spine and limbs into two and have them just grow back together longer. If I have to stay this height for the rest of my life, I fear what I'll do to myself. Please, for the love of god, if there is anything, anything, out there, tell me.
My very first job I had a job with a manager named George. He was extremely short.. about 4'9" tall. Midgit really even.. I remember he dressed well, had kind of a girly voice, but I never mistook him for anything other than a man. A very short man, but a man. Its entirely possible to be (extremely) short and still 'pass' (using that term loosely). I think its almost all about confidence. If you act like you belong, you will.. this is especially true for f2m's... testosterone does amazing things for you all! 5'6 while not exactly tall, isn't midget sized either. Some overcompensate by becoming muscle bound.. that might be an option too! The story isn't written when you stop growing, its up to you to decide how to deal with it :)
While I'd love to swap heights (I'm 6'2 btw), no can do.. so since I'm so tall I'll 'own' it by showing off how long my legs really are. Hey, if I can't fit in might as well show off as much as I can. I like to think I do it pretty well by the compliments I get.

Your doctor can't guess what your final height will be without a test. They can do an Xray of your joints and determine if the caps have fused and if not, how much future growth is possible. This is often used in diagnosing people who fail to reach normal growth standards and is a simple test to preform.
I am also a member of the 6'2" club and my excessive height has never been a problem. If people read me, it's because of factors unrelated to my height. As a FTM, testosterone is likely to make you far more passable than you ever imagined and your height is well within the normal masculine range. I often look at the tops of men's head but I don't think anything less of them because of their size.
Well just to make you feel better where I live I am 5'6 and taller then 70% of the population. America and a few European countries are unusually taller as most of the worlds average heights fall well below 6'. It is rare for me to look up to talk to anyone so dont fret if you think your short because you really are not in a funny way I have dysphoria for being so tall.
