Hi! I'm going to go by Sirius here- not because it's my real name, but even having a first name on here is risky. If I accidentally leave this account logged in and a family member sees it, I have plausible deniability that I'm the actual owner of the account (: So, anyway, about me: I'm still questioning my gender, but my best guess at the moment would be ftm trans. There's a chance that I'm genderfluid instead, but it's going to take me some time to figure it out, especially once I move to a place where I'm more free to do so. I'm out as questioning to my therapist and my parents- my therapist is interested, my parents are concerned and a little dismissive. They like to pretend I never said anything. That bothered me for a couple of years, but given that I'm moving out very soon, it's easier to let them pretend. Once I'm more secure in my identity and away from them, I'll do some more work in trying to get their acceptance. Hopefully that'll turn out alright. I really don't want to lose them. As for my friends, they don't know that I'm seriously questioning but they probably could guess. I got a binder the other day and told three of them, and they were pretty supportive, which was nice! I know that when I eventually fully come out those three will stand by me even if no one else will. I'm also an aspiring YA author and playwright, focusing mainly on LGBTQ+ characters and/or themes, and have been coming on to these boards for years under the guise of ""just research"" (hey, 14 year old me- there's a reason you're so interested in the subject!) but never actually posting. But this week, I've started a workout routine, thrifted some more male-coded clothes, and bought a binder all at once, and in the spirit of change, I decided to finally join this amazing community that I've looked in on for so long. Honestly, a lot of these forum posts resonated with me all those years ago (and still do today) and played a big part in making me realize I wasn't quite cis. I'm glad to finally be able introduce myself to you all! :)

Aloha, Sirius, brightest night time star.
It sounds to me as if you have been on what I call "the slippery slope." Sliding down ever closer to your destination.
Welcome. Come on into chat.
