I HAD AN ORCHIECTOMY 22 DAYS AGO. I AM HAVING AN ISSUE "TUCKING" BECAUSE IT SEEMS AS IF THE SIDES AND THE ENTIRE AREA IN GENERAL IS NOT "HIDING" LIKE I ANTICIPATED, PARTICULARLY WITH TIGHT BOTTOMS.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THEY WERE EXPECTING TO BE ABLE TO "TUCK" WEARING TIGHT PANTIES, BUT FOUND DISSAPOINTMENT AFTERWARD?
EVEN IF MY PENIS WAS GONE, IT STILL LOOKS LIKE MY BOTTOM AREA WOULD STILL PROTRUDE. I AM PUZZLED BECAUSE I JUST DON'T THINK THAT IS ANY LONGER SWOLLEN FROM THE OPERATION.
ANY HELP OR COMMENTS WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED :)
I had mine 16 days ago and it's not swollen but not particularly retracted either. I think at this point it would still be in the way if I wanted to tuck. My doctor told me it could take up to 6 months for everything to be fully healed so I'm guessing that's the minimum time we should wait for shrinkage.

That's a very good question. I'm scheduled to have mine this Thursday assuming nothing gets screwed up on the insurance side.
I have been wondering what the recovery time will be. I had a vasectomy nearly a decade ago that produced a good deal of swelling but that was within the testes themselves. I was hoping there would be minimal swelling this time around. My cords are already cut and burnt shut so it should just be blood vessels and the connective tissue I think anyway.
