Title: 8 months on HRT
Post by: AnamethatstartswithE on April 23, 2018, 07:29:15 PM
OK so technically it was yesterday, but I was busy/exhausted when I got home.

My previous update is here:

So body wise, things are forming nicely.

I wish I weren't so gigantic, but there's not much I can do about that. I've put on a little weight which I'm not happy about, though this might partly be due to me being super stressed out right now. The camera doesn't seem to like me much tonight face-wise.

The mirror is a lot kinder which seems to show that the hormones are working.

In terms of mental changes, I'm not sure if there's anything to report. For much of March I was dealing with a bunch of issues, as well as injuring myself running, so in the past two weeks I actually feel strong again which is nice.

One issue that I'd hoped that transitioning would fix, that it apparently doesn't is my very strong imposter syndrome. It's very common among scientists (which I am). You basically don't believe you're as smart and talented as everyone thinks you are. You feel like a fraud and that sooner or later people will figure you out. Its easy to see how also being trans can make it worse. It seems to be brought on by stress which I have in abundance right now, though that should get better after this week.

Sorry for the short update, but it is what it is.

Looking good! You have a really nice hair and I think if you get a nice haircut, it will frame your face nicely and make you look even feminine. Not sure if you are full-time, but before you go, defnitely get a nice haircut, it makes the difference.

Regarding the weight. I´ve been gaining that too, even when I eat very small amounts and healthy, I still gain weight. I don´t mind, just as long as it doesn´t end up to the belly...

Congratulations! You're filling out nicely! I'm a little jealous. I didn't have near the transformation at 8 months! You're looking very well proportioned.

Thank you all for the kind words.

I have not had a haircut of any kind since July of 2015. I am not full time, but I am getting closer and closer to being ready.

Hey girl,

You are looking good! One thing I could suggest is to use a lighter lip color and instead try to accentuate your beautiful eyes a bit more with mascara and eyeliner. I've noticed with my friends and also myself, that when we use strong colors on the lips it somehow accentuates our masculine features a bit more. I wouldn't know the exact reason why and of course this is just my opinion.

Thank you, sometimes I use eyeliner, sometimes I don't. I have only tried a few shades of lipstick, so I might give that suggestion a try.

Thanks
