Title: GCS with Wittenberg
Post by: Ahri on May 02, 2018, 02:17:55 AM
I had Bottom surgery about a month and one week ago with Dr. Wittenberg. I have a few questions. I love how my vagina looks. She did a wonderful job.

1) When does the numbness go away?

2) When does the discharge stop?

3) When will dilation start to feel good?

As of right now all i feel is pressure. I can feel it when it goes in and also moving it back and forth but that is about it.

4) how long for the clit to have feeling?

5) I have some swelling on the sides is that normal?

Ahri, healing should be the same with respect to any surgeon's work, as a girl who went to Heidi just over a year ago, I'm glad to share my specific experience (if you talk to her, feel free to say Sadie says hi and hugs). My pace had been similar to other women I know from different docs including two I know who went to Satterwhite who then was working in the same practice as Heidi (she trained working with him).

1.
I wondered from the start if I'd ever have much feeling in my inner labia. All that tissue is relocated and so has no original nerve connections. So far I still have little or no touch sensation therr, I do feel pressure. My outer labia are sensitive and I had sensation in my vaginal canal from my first dilation, all the way to full depth, not a lot but definitely there. Early on of course pain was the predominant feeling.

2.
For me discharge remained heavy out to about week 7 which is when the epidermis of my former <shenis> was shed over the course of two dilations. It was quite gross and I've guessed that I had so much because pre-op my masturbation style was quite vigorous and I think that made for fairly thick skin.

Until then I pretty much needed to use a thin but still full coverage menstrual pad to keep the discharge contained and used 3-4 of those a day, changing less often would result in leaking into my underwear and clothing. I also had a fairly unpleasant odor that thankfully went away and the discharge immediately reduced to the point that I could use panty liners.

3.
Dilating felt good for me from about the second week post-op. I just about willed it to be so and did what I could to make dilation pleasurable -- mostly rubbing my mons which was and still is stimulating to my clitoral area without triggering hypersensitivity. I can now directly stimulate my clit once I'm fully aroused, it took a few months before direct contact was ever pleasurable.

4.
My clitoris was (hyper) sensitive from the moment the packing was removed. Sensitivity to erotic touch probably took 6 months to develop to where I could touch it directly and have it feel good and it may still be changing. I did experience my first orgasm during a dream on day 4 post-op but I woke in fear of letting it complete and stopped it before getting past the edge.

5.
I'm not sure what you mean by "on the sides". I had a large hematoma in my lower abdomen that didn't fully resolve for over a month, my mons was swollen out to at least 2 months and my outer labia remained somewhat swollen out at 4 months.

I hope that's helpful, please feel free to follow up. And a huge congratulations to you. I (obviously) adore Dr Wittenberg and like you I'm quite happy with aesthetic results.

I am yet to orgasm post-op, playing solo when I get close the sensations can become overwhelming and I lose control before I can finish. My SO doesn't really understand how to drive my pleasure so I'm seeking play/romantic partners for a better physical relationship. I see these as first world problems, I'm happier with my sex life now than I was pre-op and it was workable then, just also dysphoric.

The one lesbian identified woman I've been with since GCS really did rock my world, it's a pity she lives on the other coast.

Hello Sadie thanks for the answers it is very much appreciated. Please feel free to share your experience with her or What I need to look forward too

1.

Early on of course pain was the predominant feeling.

1A) Now I am scared to touch my inner labia or outer labia. She told me no fun time for 3 months. But I wanted to see how it feels when I touch my clit or my labia's. Now I want to experiment with it today my lips today and clit to see if there is numbness there too. But I know when I put the dilator in there, I can definitely feel.

2.
I have discharge but it is not heavy. She told me when she look I had a lot of protein. I clean a lot of it out. Sometime it will hide around the clit or urethra area or vagina entrance or inside. She told me 3 percent of the hydro peroxide when cleaning once a day. I just want it to go away. lol I guess i need to be wait lol. I did not want my boyfriend going down there when there is so much yuck down there.  I do get these little shooting pains around the vagina  but I assume it is normal.

3.
Dilating felt good for me as well sometimes. But I feel more pressure than anything. Which is why I think it is a numbness feeling. But idk I am only a month and some change. I am quite new. So a lot of guidance is needed lol. Maybe I should try playing with those area's and seeing if I get any types of sensation.

4.
Well I guess I need to work on that cause. I never touch down there or even put a finger inside other than the dilator. Well I am going to try it out cause. I told my boyfriend if he decides to touch down there gloves until it is more healed.
I will keep you updated on this cause. I know at 3 months I will not be completely having feelings down there. The 6 months to a year.

5.
I am talking about the sides of the vagina.  On the right side it is more swollen than the left side. The left side looks to normal to me but idk?

Thank you :). If you have questions for me as well please ask. But I am just so curious to play with it when i have full sensation. She told me she over shot with me on depth. I started using the 3rd biggest dilator. I was really happy with that and depth wise. I can take all the dots and a little past it.

Now the self lubricating part she told me will take some time?

Well hopefully my boyfriend can help me here and also my self. Cause I want to know what it is like having sex/orgasm as a women. I know it is hell of a lot better. She did tell me there is a lot of mental, emotional and also physical that plays into having a really good orgasm. Sex is something I do enjoy with him. I had sex before I was always to sad or dysphoric to do so. Cause it was not the right parts . Now I get excited about it. This morning i woke up wet. my inner thigh's were wet.

Ahri, that all sounds like good news! you can find my rather long thread that starts 4 months pre-op and continues up to the present here: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,218067.0.html There's a co-thread in the sexuality section that you won't be able to access 'til you've been here a bit longer. I'll PM you as well.

I had minor complications that it sounds like you've missed, glad for you there. I also lost some depth because I was terrified about the possibility of pushing too hard causing some internal granulation tissue, so while I was originally at the same depth you report at the start, I'm now about an inch less depth than you. I'm still extremely happy about what I've got but suggest you not be as ginger about pushing as I was. I have regained  some depth and feel I'll eventually get back most of that 'lost' inch.

Don't be afraid to touch light playing is a different ballgame from sex which you certainly don't want to try until month 2-3), I was put off by the discharge (yes I had lots of protein, probably more than you describe) and the scent wasn't as I said before wonderful. That cleared up well at week 7.

Shooting pains in the vaginal canal and labia were all things I had, I think all normal stuff for that phase of healing.

Early on (like from the first dilation) I definitely felt the former <shenis> lining, particularly where it was sutured (notable pain along a line, I can't remember if it was dorsal ventral. I'm not talking about a lot of sensation, not dissimilar form what I used to experience on the shaft. Then and now, yes pressure is the main sensation and as long as I'm aroused, penetration feels good.

I think I understand what you mean by sides of vagina now, in my case my left inner labia was far more swolen than the right for a couple of months, sounds like you're just the same but other side. That was also a source of pain for a long time which was only made better for me by laying down. So I spent my first 2 months either walking or laying down, sitting hurt as much as walking and I figured putting the time I could into being up was the best choice.

I'm relatively self-lubricating. I can penetrate gently on just being aroused, usually for play I find that pretty dull so I have no qualms about using a bit of lube .. I don't use a lot.

Yeah, sex post-op has been really good. I've had to be patient but that's not a bad thing.

I'll PM you as well, hugs, glad to hear from you!
