Hello everyone
I was just interested in everyone's opinion that seen this excellent documentary. It's a part of the reason why I gravitated to this website.
Any thoughts would be appreciated to those who have seen it I was personally Blown Away by it.
Love you all Tatiana
It's been awhile since I've seen it, but remember thinking that Katie's questions were incisive and that it was a comprehensive introduction, without being overwhelming to someone new to the issues, and clearly presented.
Thanks so much Autumn
I can relate to what you said about it not being as revolutionary to most experienced trans people but to me it sure was because a couple weeks ago I didn't have a clue what being trans was I hope my learning curve will be tolerated because it's like I crawled out of a rock from 20 years ago. It really open my eyes and I can identify with the little four-year-old telling her mother that she felt in her heart and brain that she was female and that's about the same thing I told my mom but I didn't get a closet full of dresses.
I feel very challenged by all this new information and my inability with technology but what fun would life be without new challenges
Love Tatiana
Hi Tatiana,
Don't worry, I don't think anyone here will give you hard time because you're learning new things. Personally, I think doing so not only deserves tolerance, but admiration.
Best of luck to you.
Thanks for asking.
I think it is an amazing program. I was early in my journey reading lots of books, and feeling very stressed smd out of place. This documentary was so powerful in helping me feel normal...being transgender or transexual is not odd...it is uncommon and becoming so much more understood. Programs like this help. I actually asked my sister and 2 close friends to watch it and help their learning.
I also love the movie...The Danish Girl. I also watched it very early on and cried through much of it. I bought it on Apple TV and watch it all the time.

I also saw the show quite awhile ago now. I remember being pretty impressed with it.
Hugs,
Laurie
Hello everyone thanks for your replies I know this is old stuff to everyone but I've only been out for about 2 weeks so it's all new to me and I'll definitely watch the Danish girl.
Sorry I didn't answer sooner but being on the extreme Fringe my internet is spotty and drops out all the time .
I literally had to go out and climb thisigh hill behind my house to get better reception it's acting up horribly now with black box is all over I don't even know if I can get out thanks again everyone love you all Tatiana
Okay I actually climbed up a rock Bluff and a tree kind of like Oliver in Greenacres had to climb the pole to use the phone sorry if I drop out I don't intend to do this it's just due to the geology here and my distance to the nearest Tower. Right now I can't even see what I'm doing I hope it's okay see y'all
Do watch the Danish Girl...it is beautifully done, with a bit of a heavy focus on the significant other...but still great.
My other new Favorite is "The Greatest Showman". A beautiful movie and amazing music, and a celebration of the diverse beauty of humanity. I've watched it 4 times.
Enjoy.

LOVE the song "this is me" from that movie. Used it as an anthem every morning to boost my confidence till I felt confident enough to just accept myself as who am I and not worry about what other people think.
I watched the program awhile ago and thought it was excellent! As for learning, we all are learning as we walk along our paths. It is part of the change process. Those of us who more recently started along are path have different things to learn than those with more experience. I know that after three years, I still see myself as a 'teenager' as far as knowledge of my new 'life'. What I learn today is just different than what I needed when I came out. Being a life long learner is a good thing in life period! All the Best as you walk your path! Hugs, Kelly
Thanks so much Island Girl
Know that your words of wisdom are well-received. If your a teenager I must be a newborn thanks so much I have got a super steep learning curve to attempt but I've never shyed away from anything and really have no fear from anything but the mirror
love Tatiana
Your welcome Tatiana! Stay positive! You have shown courage to get this far!
