Wow where do I begin with our story ok my name is jade I am 34 and SO to a amazing mtf called Brooke who is 29 and at the very start of her transition.
We have been together and married for very nearly two years this month in fact lol but in all honesty I wasn't sure if we would be but the fact we are is amazing.
She first came out to me that she wore woman's clothes about six months into our relationship which I deep down already knew but I couldn't tell her I case she ran it was hell until she told me then about a year later she told me she was In fact transgender and it has been a whirlwind but the nhs has been next to useless with her the first doctor said outright he didn't deal with that and the second didn't seem to want to answer any of our questions just filled out the referral form no help or support was given or even offered to her or myself as we are still sort of fumbling around in the dark so to speak.
So if anybody has any advice or just want to chat to me about this crazy time please feel free I need all the support I can get to support my beautiful wife on her way to being her true beautiful self
Proudwife... You are more rare than hens teeth but appear more supportive than many of our wives. I happen to be blessed in that area as well. https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GYPO_enUS793US793&ei=Km3rWue1EYvV0gLtzZLIDA&q=transgender+support+groups+uk
This is a search for Transgender Support Groups in the UK. Can't stress enough the importance of a good support group. They usually have information resources on medical treatment, coping along with the satisfaction that you are not the only salmon swimming upstream. Go, make friends, socialize, learn information. It's a great experience that you will value for many years to come.

It was a relief for me to find these forums because everybody can talk about their feelings in a non-judgmental and open way. Welcome to Susan's Place!
As far as the resources, I live in the midsouth of the US and we have a trans-friendly resource guide. You could check for a guide published in your region.
