Title: A sweet gesture
Post by: VaxSpyder on May 14, 2018, 01:52:17 AM
Today my dad emailed me a picture he had taken of a bathroom door at Columbia University where his father git his degree.  The sign indicated that people should use whichever bathroom fits their gender identity.  I was so moved that my dad took the time to send me this.  It's like a connection between my past and my future.  It also made me feel like my dad is taking an active interest in my transition instead of just passive acceptance.

That is sweet.  It's also great that your dad is supportive.

Big hug! That IS awesome news, thanks for sharing.  :)

Here's the restroom sign from the Boatslip in Provincetown. All are welcome. Drag Queens are expected   ;D

That is indeed sweet and made me smile to read it :)
Glad for you that your dad has that active support for you.
I love it when people do cute and meaningful little random things like that. Like you know they have thought specifically of you and what you might like.
Thank you for sharing it.

Devlyn, that sign is awesome, love it!
