I stopped by after my dentist appointment at the second hand store and rewarded myself by buying a cute, summer, skirt. The lady at the counter rang me up and said, "Thank you ma'am." It was about the millionth time I've been called ma'am and it's amazing that it still feels wonderful.
After almost three years, and female hormones, and surgeries and lots of practice, the skin, the hair, the hips, the boobs, the face, the voice, the mannerisms, the walk. It's all coming together. Oh and practice, practice, practice. Did I mention practice, practice, practice?

Yay, glad to hear it never gets old. Clearly, you are in the Groove. :)
That is what we all are striving for, feeling good about ourselves is the most important. I know my best friend called me ma'am (she's the only one right now that knows) and it felt right, almost made me want to jump for joy. Congrats on being you lol.
Same for me.
It never gets old to hear people using the proper pronouns and greetings.
I know I love it every time!
That first ma'am is pure gold! It's still music to my ears every time!
