I know some of you ladies have kindly given your (O)estrogen and Testosterone Blood Test results after 3/4 and after 6/7 and after 12 months here on Susans which are very useful for those early in transition like me to analyse and compare. However I thought it better not to simply copy or list them without your permission.
So I am asking those of you who have previously stated your 2 Blood test results after 3/4 months on other threads if you would be prepared to declare them again here please? Thanking you. Also any other girls on HRT up to 4 months, are you also prepared to give your reading after 3/4 months please? Thanks to you also.
Now I know that in US and Canada you measure E and T in pg/ml and ng/dl respectively whereas in UK and Europe and Australia we measure O and T in pmol/l and nmol/l respectively and I am happy to convert one to the other after perhaps a couple of weeks when you girls have had time to retrieve and respond if you wish. May I thank KathyLauren who a few months ago kindly provided the arithmetical method for conversion.
Finally if I receive a reasonable number of responses, I may consider future threads for readings after 6/7 months and after 12 months but for now I am interested in those only after 3/4 months please.
I shall start with my own Blood test readings and I must say I am pleasantly surprised by my readings. Anyone is welcome to comment on my readings. I feel at this early stage I have cause to be happy at my results but I do not intend to get carried away into fantasy world. I feel there are a good start nothing more than that.
International: Oestrogen 922 Testosterone 1.6
US: Estrogen 251 Testosterone 46
Thanking you all for any responses you may wish to provide.
Hugs to you all
Pamela

The blip in T and E levels at 8 months was due to a change in my spiro dosage because my doctor was worried about my blood pressure being too low. But it put me out of the target ranges, and I could feel the increased T: some of my mental "static" came back. So she adjusted the dosage back, and now I just keep my fluids up and don't stand up quickly.
Here's my levels. Would be in the US units.

Pre HRT in my 20's... from what I remember..
T <3
E 60
later in life & after surgery and not on HRT:
T <3
E 60
NOW in my mid 40's
T <3
E < 30
:(
On HRT...
T <3
E 250... ish
One time on a freak test a couple years ago on HRT:
T 55
E 850
Hey I managed to somehow have T lol.
Kinda depressed about no E anymore. Whatever mysterious source was producing it has stopped.
Hi
UK 3 to 4 month levels
T <0.2 nmol/L
E 364 pmol/L
Looks like T was probably low to start with, never got the start point levels from my Doc, may be I can ask for those.
Assuming of course they hadn't messed up the measurements etc etc.
Katie
US testing numbers:
Pre HRT:
T - 300
E - 61
2 months:
T - 110
E - 60
6 months:
T - 30
E - 44
1 year:
T - Undetectable
E - 41
I was super worried about such low levels of E in the first year...but my endo kept pointing out how my body was reacting to what was present. She cannot figure the "why" of so much change taking place without the skyrocketed levels so many other girls experience. My GP actually posited that there is possibly an intersex condition helping things along. My test levels before starting any regimen were the highest recorded and that was just my system. Regardless, my E levels remained in the normal MALE levels for most of the beginning while my figure changed and I grew a nice pair of...chest weights :)
At about 1.5 years, my endo altered my Spiro:
T - Undectable
E - 81
and 2 years:
T - Undetectable
E - 80
and this is about where things have settled out for me all the way through present.
Post-op since Dec. 2005. Last test results from a few months (Canada, units similar to Europe, UK and Australia):
Total T 13.9 nmol/L (401 ng/dl)
Free/Bio-available T undetectable (i.e. very, very low) because high SHBG > 200 nmol/L
E2 4214 pmol/L (1,148 pg/ml), have had levels as high as 14,111 pmol/L (3,844 pg/ml), back in 2014.
At the moment, on Androgel, Estrogel and IM EV injections. :)
Thanks you to everyone who has responded so far. I know of another kind lady who will be responding shortly.
I shall wait another week before I convert all the readings such that we have both US and International.
My apologies for incorrectly stating Canada uses US system instead of International.
Have a good week, girls.

Pre (16 years) T: 420 ng/dl E: 39 pg/ml
My estrogen has always been weekly intramuscular injection, I never took an AA also all of the pre-hrt tests were taken at 3-4 days after injection, my last two tests have been taken on a Friday, the day before I take my next dose, I expect my mid-week numbers would still be in the low 200s

First of all thank you ladies for all 12 responses of which 10 readings can now be added to mine making a table of 11 of us below. Doreen's and KayXo's not included as not for the requested time period but I still value them and I thank you.
For those of you who have provided several readings, I have used the one closest to 3/4 months which I prefer than any attempt by me at "best judgement assessment"

I now fully appreciate the term "YMMV" as the O(E) readings vary significantly but I think we can at least take heart that the T readings come down pretty fast after 3/4 (or after 6/7 months).
I shall request when I see my readings in August for yours after 6/7 months unless of course you have already provided them in your post above - no need to inform me twice.
Once again thank you. Now analyse and compare if wish and enjoy!
Finally any other girls who wish to provide me with their readings after 3/4 months either in International or in US Units may still do so by all means and I shall add to the table.
Hugs to you all
Pamela
You can add my numbers to the table as I have my results from August 2004, 4 months after I started HRT (March 31, 2004). I was on sublingual estradiol and cyproterone acetate (Androcur). I will also give numbers from before HRT.
Before HRT
E2 <66 pmol/L (18 pg/ml)
Bio-available T 6.6 nmol/L (190 ng/dl)
After HRT (4 months), 2-3 hours after last dose (I remember because he surprised me with blood test!)
E2 974 pmol/L (265 pg/ml)
Total T 1.5 nmol/L (43 ng/dl)
Thank you. I shall add your readings to the table. I see yours are the closest to mine. Happy to follow in your footsteps!

Thank you for compiling this information! It is interesting to see comparative data like this.
Yes, thanks Pamela, I plotted the E-T relationship and it's clearly proportional, of course we don't know who was also taking AAs etc so it's certainly not a full picture of suppression of T via E, also it's my understanding that oral estradiol alone isn't very good at suppressing T, and that injected, transdermal or sublingual all are relatively more effective.
local nerd done weighing in :-)
Hi
OK my meds without dosages for info;
I'm on Decapeptyl SR 3 month injections and Finasteride daily as AAs etc (Maybe that's why T went so low straight away..either that or I'm a natural girl really - yes please..))
And Evorel patches twice a week
for other issues;
**Mg Warfarin daily - do not take this unless you have a real medical necessity and it is prescribed, it can cause internal bleeding and such like - it is not anything to do with trans medication - it is used as a poison for some species..
Symbicort inhaler and when needed Salbutamol sulphate when needed (not often nowadays after HRT... Interesting)
Also Sumatriptan tablets for occasional migraines (tunnel vison etc, not often nowadays after HRT... Interesting)
Currently on 4 different eyedrops to stop hypertension in left eye after 2 surgeries on it (thee are messing with my INR coagulation count)
Bloods being taken for 5/6 months period this Friday.. I will let you know but I think T has raised its 'head' again... I can sort of feel that if you know what I mean.
Katie

I don't understand the results in the chart you posted. I'm very confused by it [emoji28]

Unless you're me, my T levels went up on blockers!
Nothing that couldn't be fixed by going to see the Nutchopper, though. ;D
I see what you are trying to do here, but without data that is not allowed on this site, it's kinda pointless. Another thing to consider is AA use.. Some don't take an AA at all and so have a much different profile when it comes to levels over time, particularly T. Delivery method is also useful info.

Nothing that couldn't be fixed with an adequate HRT protocol either..

Oral estrogen should be banned for use in trans women, possibly is women too. Oral admin is where the clot risk lies, it's a non-issue with other delivery methods. This isn't the biggest issue, the ratio of Estrone to Estradiol that is the real issue. Most of the orally administered pills seem to end up as Estrone rather than estradiol, which is a much weaker active agent..

Thanks, but I went over several HRT options and protocols with my ACTUAL doctor who is...ACTUALLY a doctor, and together we decided that an orchiectomy was the best option for me.
I hope you're not asserting that the best treatment option for you is the best treatment option for everybody. Because when we ASSert...well you know how the rest of it goes.

I wasn't asserting anything.. Just making a glib response to a glib comment.
Hello Katie
Thank you for your post. I note you are on Evorel Patches and Finasteride and Decapeptyl SR.
I am not asking for details of medication but anyone who wishes to provide their details without dosage may do so by all means. Thank you for yours.
I am on Evorel Patches and Finasteride.
Good luck with your 5 month Blood Test and perhaps next week you can provide readings on this thread if you wish please.
Hello Alison
All I am doing is comparing (O)Estrogen and Testosterone readings from our Blood Tests after 3/4 months and as about half of members are from US and about half from other countries, I think it is worthwhile to produce results in both US and International Units. The reason is simply to compare and see if there is any commonalities and in due course any trends as in August I will start a thread for readings after 6/7 months. Thank you for all your readings including those for 6/7 months - no need to inform me in August again.
Thank you Kaitylynn and to all others for your kind comments.
Hugs to all
Pamela
Okay, maybe not much use to others but today I got my 3 month results so very happy to add to those already here:

4.2 nmol/L testosterone
Also on Evorel patches and Finasteride.
I have now added Casady's readings making it a table of 13. Any other girls wishing to supply me with Blood Test Results may still do so by all means.
