I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I go to my prescriber tomorrow to get my first prescription of hrt meds, and start my process of officially transitioning. Thanks to all the ladies on here that motivated me to move forward. I have a special place in my heart for all of you. Love Skylar

Congrats! You are starting an exciting ride! Be patient, though, as many find it a bit of a roller coaster ride. You will make progress however, so enjoy!

Lady Skylar: Well, indeed this is very exciting news.   Hang on for a thrilling ride toward your transition goals.
As I tell just about everyone that is starting HRT and/or disappointed about the initial results regarding their own body changes....  usually nothing of significance happens very fast with HRT.  As you read other's postings you will find that some have quicker and more significant initial results and some have slower and less significant initial results.

As we say here on the Forums, "YMMV".... meaning that your mileage may vary.  Almost never do the changes happen as quickly as we all want them to happenas our human nature desires...
     "We Want it ALL and we Want it NOW"

It is all up to your body and your genetic makeup, so patience is definitely required.
Possibly one of the first things that you will notice in a month or two is breast and nipple sensitivity and a little breast growth perhaps....  then things will progress from there.
Look at the different postings in the various threads here on the Forums, they will give you an idea of what you might be expecting.
But again, patience is required.

Hi Lady Skyler 🙋‍♀️ This will be the moment that you will remember as the start of becoming who you are. There will be many steps still in the future.  Some that may test your resolve and some that will strengthen you.  While I agree with @islandgirl @Alaskan Danielle and @ElizabethK that indeed it can be a wild ride, it will also be the best ride of your life.  I'm glad that you have found that you have friends here at Susan's Place.  We are here for each other.
