Title: first time shopping for men's clothes, suggestions?
Post by: Nathanyel on June 06, 2018, 06:22:14 AM
Okay so I've not really got any men's clothes yet and I have yet to go out in public as him. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried out a few of my brother's clothes but I only succeeded in resembling a butch lesbian. I have zero experience with buying men's clothes and I'm not sure what to look for. Now I'm fairly slim build as it is so it's already difficult for me to find clothes small enough.

Help is very much needed. I know nothing about men's fashion!

Much simpler than women's. Can't go wrong with things like jeans or polo shirts. Assuming it's summer where you are, add some shorts and tees. Some men's sandals or athletic shoes would probably be useful.

As a small guy by day, I hear you. Best advice I can give is comfort, or function over form. Also your own style comes into play. Like I mainly do t-shirts and jeans and when going out, nice jeans and a few button up shirts.
