Hey there, my name's Rembrandt but most people call me Rem. I've actually known about this website for years and years but never got up the nerve to join haha...funny story, way back in 2006 when I first learned there was actually a word for why I felt so awful about myself (I grew up very sheltered in a rural conservative Midwestern town...I didn't know much about much lol) this website was legit the first thing that I saw in my Google search, and lurking on it helped a lot. Now 10+ years later I'm actually finally starting my transition journey, so yay..full circle I guess!
I'm a 38 yr old transman, been on T for...a little over a year, actually, although...due to depression issues my dosage schedule is wildly erratic so it's probably more like 6-8 months in total, if I'm honest. Not something I'm really happy about, admittedly, haha. I've been feeling really...conflicted about things since starting transition & feling it's not going so well...so I've been trying to find resources & just people to talk to about it online (I feel a bit isolated and out of place from my local community bc of my age) so...here I am! Haha, whew, nervous
I love gaming, comics, animated films and shows, D&D and cult films and have three cats that are the best problem children any parent could have. Nice to meet everyone!
edit: Aw I guess the captcha didn't like my 'No, I am dancer' response to "Are you a human?" No sense of humor, that.
