Dr. Keojampa's office was referred to me by my insurance but when I received approval from DMHC showing this was medically necessary, he and his staff did not want to use my insurance despite being contracted. They cancelled my surgery one week before the surgery via email after trying to charge me more money than they were contracted to by my insurance. They said they advocate with your insurance for approval but in my case, they spoke with my insurance and did not tell them the same story they told me and would not explain the discrepancy to me. Instead, they tried to get me to pay $44000 for services that would have been paid for by my insurance and at a lower fee due to them being contracted with my insurance. And decided it was appropriate to do this and email me a cancellation of surgery a few days before it was to take place. Please be careful before using his services.
Welcome to Susan's Place!
Dr Keojampa is a member here, I'm sure he'll read this with interest.
See you around the site.
Hugs, Devlyn
