So for the last long time I have used female exclusive razors to help with dysphoira. Although they are really well on my arms, legs and rest of body thenone area where they only last well once or twice is the face. After the third or forth time they become useless. It could be thag I am buying the cheap brands but I'm not sure. Saturday I used a males razor that was sitting around. I did so beciase one of my old mtf friends told me for face purposes male razors work better and for my, since by dysphoira has taken a low level in the past little bit I decided to use it. I'm looking for the end result, not the labeled method. I wanted a smooth face like what I should be and I actually got it so despite using a male razor I felt good. Still, are there any special female razors available??
As for plucking, today after shaving but having a bad razor that couldn't use much of I decided to pluck. The feelings were mixed. I wanted to further get rid of "beard shadow" that can come even after applying make up and I hear plucking can reduce need to shave so I reluctantly pushed myself to do so. The emotional experience was mixed , I did have a panic attack or feel that sick feeling I tend to get when i see the beard, but I did get anmild weak feeling in legs that didn't feel so great. In addition, many of the hairni oulled out did have the white tinge many do that shows a "healthy" hair, many that I pulled out had roots that were black and damaged looking which makes me wonder if those are they hairs that were suppose to fall out but haven't from last laser session.
Anyways, anyone have luck with plucking and know if any high quality female razors?? Thanks
A razor is a razor and the only difference between male and female razors is that the female ones are pink and cost more. If it helps relieve your dysphoria then use the female ones. But if this isn't a dysphoria thing then use whatever one works best.

Really? I thought it was. Or so I've been told many times. I'd rather use a female razor so if there are good ones I hope to come across one. Any experience with plucking?

Never found a better price anywhere. They can ship every month or every other month.
Sometimes the female ones have more of the strip that dispenses gel on the top of the razor if it's one of those fancier ones. And the men's ones often have an extra blade. That's about it.
the single first consideration for smooth shaving .. use a sharp one. Pink, red, white, black, who cares, it has to be sharp.
Second is, go slow and smoothly, rinse the blade often.
After that, it depends on the blade style and your face.
Find a blade that works for you when new, how many times before it's not so good? Try another one that also works for you, test again. Buy the one that works, stays sharp and/or doesn't break the bank buying replacements.
Cheaper blades can snag the skin easier and cut the skin, be wary of them.
The one that I buy is pricey on replacement blades but it works for me. I use it maybe 3 times then toss the cartridge and snap on a new one. Typically when the lubricant strip is wearing off.
I have recently found that my epilator shaver attachment is great between days, not perfect, but smooth enough for a single day and avoid razor burn.
I generalized, I know. Get too specific and it won't work for you. Which is why I don't recommend a specific razor.
I, too, was using a female razor early on. And I think I would have continued to do so, but every shaving tutorial I found by cis women said just use male razors as there's almost no difference, they're cheaper, too.
Thanks everyone! I cleaned my room a while ago and found some forgotten unused female razors!! So atleast I can use those :)
As for plucking? Any thin to add?
no pluck the face/neck .. nope, can't do .... OWWWWW
I pluck or epilate most everywhere else. It is not recommended if you plan on laser or electrolysis

Why not recommended?
Plucking deforms the root making it more difficult to treat the hair. Which electrolysis they use a needle between the hair and the skin to get down to the root. If they guess correctly as to where the root is, you feel nothing. If the root isn't where it's supposed to be, you get poked. It may take more attempts to eliminate a hair making it costly and extending the treatment time.
