Title: How restricted am I?
Post by: jake3029 on June 25, 2018, 09:10:46 AM
I've been seeing that some people say that my options are restricted to transition at my age, I'm 15 currently, is it true? Also I'm in Australia and I've read up that you have to go to court to get some things done. I have no clue if this is true or not.

I'm not really sure, but I think the rules vary a bit by state.

I believe the court requirement was removed recently.

If you can't get hrt at least make sure you get on blockers.

  Hi Jake,

I am Laurie Welcome to Susan's Place. I did a google search using "Australia Transgender support" and came up with several support sites. This one is for transgender children.  Transcend Support (http://www.transcendsupport.com.au/) . There were others listed for different Australian states too.

I hope this helps you answer your questions.

Hugs,
   Laurie
