Title: Cis and Trans bodies
Post by: TsukiCat on June 25, 2018, 01:26:58 PM
I have been wondering how effective hrt is on the body. There's plenty for faces . By this I mean if you put a ciswoman and a transwoman next to each other would there bodies be the same I.e. as curvy and feminine. How do our bodies differ.

I'm asking as I'm ore hrt and I'm worried about the results.

I'm also curious about ftm as well.

Also this is off topic but didn't want to  create a new thread but my shoulders are 14,5 inches which is like .5 above female average but the still look really broad to me even tho others say they aren't.  Are my shoulders going to look broad when I finally transition

Tsuki, from what I have seen or been told(also I'm pre-HRT) it's just fat redistribution.

To change bone structure requires surgery.  But women come in all shapes and sizes, and for the most part, that is governed by the areas where fat is stored.

I remember a topic awhile ago where you won't see much difference in shoulder length unless you really bulked-up before transition, because of the muscle atrophy.

I would say, from what I've seen though, there's more noticeable changes in the body than in the face- but that must be maintained with diet, exercise, stretching, etc.

It depends on a number of factors, such as your body shape when you start HRT, your age, how receptive your body is to estrogen, your genetics, etc., And your hip bones will not grow wider if your bone growth plates are already fused when you start HRT, although it is possible for fat and muscle around your hips to accumulate and make them wider, however, it usually isn't as significant as we would like it to be, which is why so many Trans Women, even younger transitioners, seek out hip and butt enhancement, and some Trans Women are willing to take major risks by having free silicone injections.

And generally Trans Men will experience more dramatic changes than Trans Women from HRT, because estrogen can not reverse the skeletal changes caused by testosterone.

My friend says you can always tell a trans girl because she has a back like a bullfrog, no ass, and  great legs.

I have no ass either. My pants drop and I need to pull them up all the time no matter what belt I use. I'm pre T.

Ive seen some exercise routines that seem to enhance yo ass lol to be crude. I don't know how well they'd help tho and I've also considered corset training but it's a mixed bag if how well that goes apparently.  My hip bones actually seem like a woman's hip bones there just over my belly button, but I failed biology so what do I know xD

I was mainly just wondering if our bodies would become feminine enough to identify as feminine bodies or if our major identifing feature was just breats.  I have seen ohotos online whi have amazing bodies, and everyonw on here too. I think a lot of my concern is that I look at women and don't think I'll ever be able to look that good *that wasn't meant to be creepy)

I read somewhere that there are some exercises that are better than others to look femenine. Don't remember what though.

I was 19.5 and have to wear coats with 20" shoulders before HRT or anything. 14.5 is pretty narrow to my thinking.

I keep thinking that I have a really masculine frame, but it helps to look at some of the more manly/thin women around me and compare myself to them instead of looking at the most feminine women I can find. Then I can go:

"Ok, I'm 6 feet tall, but she's got 3 inches on me, easy. This isn't so bad."

"Yeah, my shoulders are, like, 22 inches broad, but hers are almost the same."

"My hips are way too narrow, but at least they're wider than hers. I think my ass is a lot bigger, too."

That, and remembering that HRT will help with some things, keeps me sane. I try to think of myself as a really, really butch amazon, instead of as a guy. I'm flat-chested, not man-chested. My big hands are elegant, not unwieldly, and my toned muscles make me a strong woman, not an athletic man.

Trying to stay positive and see the good side of things. I'd constantly be depressed if I didn't.
