Title: Finding a Psychiatrist/ Psychologist for a letter

Hello all,

I am looking to have top surgery next summer as I will be eligible this fall. I do have one problem, however: my insurance needs me to have a letter from a licensed psychologist/psychiatrist. I have been having the hardest time finding one in CT that takes my Husky Health insurance. I was wondering if any FTM people knew of any or could help me out. Thank you in advance for anything!

You have two options. Ask the insurance company for a referral or pay the cost out of pocket. The $120 or so it might cost you is more that worth it considering what the insurance will cover.
