I don't know if this is a problem for all or some, but I believe I have done fairly wide set breasts. Like, think of your sternum, and then put your fingers vertically between them. I have so much room, I could probably fit 6 fingers between my breast tissue. Is this distance something that will eventually close over time and growth, or is this something that I'll have to deal with?

Sort of typical male breast positioning. Wide set which will give you a hard time getting a bra to fit until you learn what works. Mine have shifted more to center but not much. How far it will close up is anyone's guess. With an underwire push up bra and doing the stoop and swoop I can have a very nice cleavage and I'm about 3 inches in between the girls. Only time will tell
Our rib cage is different, wider, than cis women, at least for most of us that is the case. That´s why the breasts are positioned a bit wider and looks smaller, due to the lateral positioning.
This bothered me too a lot. But then I started to look women on advertisement, newspapers, bikini pictures etc etc, where nobody is wearing a bra and noticed, that a lot of women have their breasts positioned quite lateraly and the gap between, is as wide as mine, if not even wider for some.
Every body is different...and this one is mine :)
Wider rib cage means breasts set apart. I quite like the way it looks and my Girl friend has no objections so I'm all good with it.
Hello Salaniaseviltwin and Donna
I started just 5 months ago and my breasts are starting to develop.
I have a triple positioning dilemma:
1. Wide spread boobs as outlined by you and hence no cleavage.
2. I feel boobs and nipples of course look a bit too low down my body and I would like reposition vertically slightly higher up.
3. Although just developing, boobs appear to be drooping.
I note underwire push up bra may help with 1. and 3. but what about 2. the vertical repositioning? Is this just in my mind or perhaps is it an early and not unexpected sign that after HRT (realistically 2020) that I would need BA?
Thanking you for any help.
Hugs
Pamela

How long have you been on hrt? Have you had decent growth? If you feel uncomfortable, breast augmentation is an option. Just make sure you research varying results and find a surgeon that gives results that best fit with what you want.

Hi Allison.
It's already been 1.5 years, growth has been slow, but plenty of it. I'm currently sitting at 33.5 inches underbust and 37 inches over. When I started with roughly half an inch difference, maybe slightly more. I know about implants, but I want to wait a while before I consider any surgeries past an orchiectomy.

Mine are wide set too, between that and shoulders I have difficulty getting a good fitting bra. Otherwise, who wants to look like everyone else?
I am not a clone!

This is true, but eventually I would like some decent cleavage.

I have fairly broad shoulders but a long torso which balances that out a bit, I've developed to a D cup (briefly a DD but I lost a bunch of weight) and they are set fairly wide. Some people have noted how large my breasts are when I am topless as yep, they get a bit lost in a broader chest.
Cis women definitely face this too, I have a friend who does. You have to go to some extraordinary means to attain cleavage like fillets, tape, push up bra etc, but i really don't mind.
