Title: Hey all, I am new here
Post by: Laurel on July 03, 2018, 10:48:16 PM
Hello everyone  :)

I was pointed in this direction by a friend who said I would find support here for my personal difficulties

I don't really know where I am on the transgender spectrum...it depends on when/how you ask and who asks ::)

In the view of the Drs I have seen, I don't fall into any easily classifiable category so they generally just leave me alone or tell me to come back when I have explored myself more. I am on hormones. I really want children but finding an understanding girlfriend is really hard...my last one left after I told her about my gender fluidity  :'(

Hi Laurel,

Welcome to Susan's Place! There is a very wide spectrum of Trans - people on the site also including spouses, parents and others etc - so everything you ever wanted all in one place!
Hopefully when you feel comfortable you can share more details about yourself and your life and we can get to know you more.  Who knows you may even meet someone 'special' on this site as well.

Look forward to hearing more about you,

Sonja.

Welcome to Susan's Place. I would like to give you the answer to your question but unfortunately, you need to figure that out for yourself. I have a couple of links that might help but I suspect the first link will be more useful that the second. The first link is our WIKI  (https://www.susans.org/wiki/Transgender) where the word transgender is defined and you might find a label that fits. The second link is  "the transition channel"  (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfO3B57E6NpIn-KsVjvmLLw) and while it's more structured for the transsexual, it still contains information you might find useful. If you have questions, feel free to ask as somebody probably has the answer.
