Title: Shave, trim or natural?
Post by: Veronica Secret on December 29, 2007, 12:09:19 PM
I was shaved but I am letting it grow, will probably trim it.

I am starting to like the natural look on other women too.

LOL...there is only 'one' area that most woman either shave, trim, or leave natural...

I personally trim...keeping everything nice and neat...never really liked the 'natural' look myself...

Just letting it grow makes wearing a bikini a problem. I do notice a lot of women go natural here but that may be because it is a statement against the stereo-typical male porn version of a vagina and the fact that it is almost always too cold to wear a bikini.

BTW I am looking for responses from POST-OP women. I think I will let mine grow out and get my bikini lined waxed at the salon in  the summer.

Has anyone ever had that done? I haven't yet.

I mean really, I didn't want to have to spell it out but we are talking v-a-g-i-n-a-s here. :)

"Shave, trim or natural"

What, no option for IPL/lasering the whole lot off?  ;D

I'm kinda the same way.

In the winter I will go for trimmed. In the summer I will
go for a closer trim, and sometimes will completely shave
the region.

I trim.

Don't really like the bare pre pubescent teen girl look.

And don't care for the hairy growth of a 60s hippie chick.

So I compromise and mow the lawn as it is needed.

Totally natural! I do NOT "shave" or "trim" ANYTHING! Not my legs, not my armpits, NOTHING!

Of course I happen to be of Nordic extraction and couldn't muster enough body fuzz to keep a peach modest!  ;D (Hey, I am glad I caught at least ONE break in life!)

Once the scars heal, I'll go with trimmed.  I'll definitely shave next summer though, I'm losing weight so I can look hot in a bikini and I don't need a forest poking out down there.

I shave and trim :) that area, but currently my armpits are mildly hairy and I have been wearing muscle shirts with no bra.

trim in the cool months and winter, shave in the summer so I can wear a swim suit. Thought about doing a Brazilian Wax, but so far haven't gathered up the nerves  :D

Bowers' site says something about maybe not having all the hair in that area electroed because of the need to cover up scars....not sure what I think of that because I kind of always figured I'd want all the hair below the top of the vagina permanently removed, and also enough on each side of the pubes to make the choice to shave or whatever a much lesser chore

I dunno.  I find this question too personal.  Why would anyone here care whether I shave, trim or keep it natural?  That's something between my fiance and I

One word:

Sphynx.

You shaved a Sphynx into your pubic hair?  Impressive, but not something I would do. :D

What's sphynx?  The only Sphynx I know is the great Sphynx of Giza in Egypt.

It seems to be a generational deal, male and female alike, under 30 likes a lot less hair that over 30 seems to be willing to tolerate.

Just slightly off topic, say one wanted to get the area cleaned up but not cleared completely. Are you sitting there spreadeagle with your bits exposed or do they cover you and just expose the area they are working on? The whole concept seems kind of awkward.

Personally, its a DIY project.

Right, of course. Sorry, I was on the way out the door earlier and didn't finish my thought. I meant with tools, like lasers or electro or even wax.

Ouch! Wax I would think is still DIY. i don't want to think of the rest of the "tools" down there.

While never having partaken, I'm reasonably sure that many salons offer a brazillian wax so the question is a good one. Can't see how you could get that kind of job and still retain any modesty.
