Hello All,
This technically isn't facial surgery, but this feels like the best forum for this. Hopefully I'm not wrong.
I've been saving up money for a while now to get some of the surgeries I need done, and I've seen a couple of plastic surgeons here in Las Vegas, NV. But so far, all of them have said they're not confident/comfortable/practiced with shaving away the adam's apple. I have a rather pronounced one and so I'd really like to get it removed sooner rather than later.
Any one in the southwest area have this procedure done? Or can recommend a surgeon that you know has experience with it? I've been googling like crazy, but can't find anyone who actually talks about this sort of thing. The closer to Vegas, the better, but I'm willing to travel a bit if needed.

I can't recommend a name but if you haven't done so, look for a reconstructive plastic surgeon. They have more training and are wiling to go to the bone level to do their work. Other plastic surgeons mostly work at the skin level which isn't what your after.
I also know Dr Haben could do it but I am not sure you want to travel that far for just that surgery.

I believe he might as he does FFS however his wait list is so long that I am not sure he could be considered available.
It's rare but we have a few members with voice damaged from incorrect tracheal shave. Most of these procedures turn out well, but I wouldn't make the decision based purely on convenient location unless the surgeon knows exactly how to do this with accuracy for MtF transgender.
With the right surgeon you should be fine.

I was about to say the same. San Francisco or LA are not far away and you can have it done with an experienced ORL doctor. It is a simple procedure but I would only do it with an experienced doctor
Yep it counts as FFS.
I had it done with my GCS with marci Bowers. Sometimes wish I'd waited and done it with an actual FFS surgeon though. I worry she didn't take enough sometimes. But I've always had a very prominent adam's apple. Nowadays it really doesn't show (and the scar definitely doesnt show) unless my body fat % goes down past a certain level
